Why do you like the song?

I like this song called "Gravity" by a band named 'Against the Current' because it has a powerful beat and voice combined with powerful words that struck my heart. Now and when I was a child, I always loved songs that are upbeat with guitars and drums playing in the background and when she screams (well not scream but sings loudly) the phrase, "Can you save me now!" I felt a big rush coming throughout my whole body and I have the urge to dance and sing. I can't explain it but when I first listened to the song, I already loved it with my whole heart like I was deeply connected to it. It was like at that moment I had found a missing part of myself I guess, sorry I can't explain it that well. One thing it reminds me of is all of the adventures that I had in my life. With my family and friends at school, swimming and elementary. It also reminds me of one of my favourite animes called "My Hero Academia" (which is about young highschoolers training to become heroes and saving people) since it has words like "can you save me now" and "do you remember feeling invincible." which felt like it came from a hero's words.

Why does this song relate to the story?

This song relates to the story that I wrote because the song talks about someone losing a person that was their everything to them. And so I put that story into two of my favourite characters in the "My Hero Academia" anime who have a similar relationship to the song. Because I feel like if Denki or Jiro passed away or went missing, then one of them would feel despair, sadness and regret and especially fall into a deep vortex of darkness due to their other pair, their yin to their yang is gone as if (like in the song) "their world is shattering". I also made the events try to fit the words in the song like Jiro having flashbacks of her and Denki "chasing the sun" and "running through the night." Another reason why the song relates to the story is that I get the kind of feeling from the words and the singer's voice like it's very hero-like because it's talking about saving another person.
