So we all know at the end of season 3, it is believed that Hopper is dead. However Netflix conformed that is is in fact alive, and is being kept hostage by the Russians. So what if El starts to get her powers back and she sees that hopper is not dead at all but is with the Russians, and tells Joyce about it.
Joyce then contacts Murray, and the pair solve Hoppers mystery. They also take help of Nancy and Jonathan, who are working for a big newspaper, to help them and to publish the story to prove the Russians?
So that was my first theory. This theory is actually very viral on the internet but it would be so cool to see Murray and Joyce team up again. U guys are free to request.
