Zayn's POV
This is total bullshit. There has to be something weird going on with the popularity/bullies group, because now the jocks are some what cool to us. And the cheerleaders have Niall and Louis eating on the palm of their hands. Louis and Niall claim that Sarah and Gretchen aren't as evil as we thought they were. I'm sorry but I sense something fishy going on and I'm hoping it's just a feeling because I don't want the boys to get hurt. I don't bother with paying any attention to the cheerleaders or the other snobby girls. I already have my eyes set on someone. And just let me tell you she is beautiful. She's like no other girl I've seen before. She's so kind and funny, she's amazing.
Her name is Perrie Edwards.
"Ayy Zayn, Zayn" Niall snaps his fingers in front my face.
"Hmm" I look at him
"What's up with you?" Niall asks
"Nothing, I'm just thinking. What's up" I look up at the board and finish copying the notes
"I just wanted to let you know that Gretchen wants to set you up on a date with Brittany" Niall says
"Thanks but no thanks" I clench my fist. What do they want from us? What's their deal?
"She's trying to set you up with someone" Niall tries to defend Gretchen.
"Well I'm good so no thanks" I almost break my pencil
"Harry doesn't want any part of getting set up either" Niall tells me
"Hmm I wonder why" I sarcastically comment
"He said that he's been busy and he doesn't want to deal with the girls" Niall explains
"Oh alright" I wonder if harry made that up to get out of the set up.
The bell rings, I quickly pack my things so i won't be late to my next class. As I rush out the door I accidentally run into someone and because of the impact I drop my books. So much for not being late. As I reach out for my books, someone helps me pick them up, I look up to see who it could possibly be. And it's her. Perrie. She smiles a sympathetic smile.
She apologizes "I'm so sorry I dropped your books, I hope this is not making you go late to class"
"Uhh d-don't worry about it. It's my f-fault" i shyly smile, I can't believe I'm stuttering at this moment of all moments.
"Babe leave that loser to fend for himself" Oh great. Ryan Prescott the asshole, captain of the basketball team. Of course she would be with him. Every girl goes for him. He just brought my self-esteem to a new low.
"Don't be a jerk Ryan" she smacks him on the arm and I just look down to my feet. I can't even look her in the eye. I feel so low.
"What?" Ryan says in the most innocent tone as possible, that's when I start to walk off.
"I'll see ya around, Zayn" she calls out. How does she know who I am and why does she give a damn about me.
With that I run to my Art class getting there right when the bell rings again meaning that the class has already started. I'm glad this class was next because after what happened back there I need a pick-me-up. But through the whole class I kept replaying that hurtful moment in my head. I wish it wasn't hurting me this way, she wasn't mine to begin with.

During lunch I spent the entire time admiring her from afar. Gosh, she's so beautiful, so captivating. How can I think I could have a chance with her.
"You'll get her one day" I hear Harry whisper to my ear.
"Huh, what did you say?" I ask
"You heard me" he says
"I highly doubt it though" I tell him. Harry knows how I feel for Perrie.
"Don't doubt yourself Zayn, because you might never know. Life is full of surprises" he advises and I just nod.

Sorry for yet another late short chapter. Please forgive me. Thanks for all your support I love you guys. I promise I'll try to write a longer chapter in a shorter time period. I'm just under a little stress about some drama. But I'm somewhat better.
Thanks ladies. You're all beautiful don't let others make you think otherwise. Love you.
