Over the next few months, Ellie and Remus became closer than ever. They bonded over the fact that both of them only had each other to keep company and so were each other's best friends.

By the time they had to go to Diagon Alley on August 30, Ellie's cuts had all but healed themselves, even though she knew the scars would be there forever. She didn't mind. She thought she looked cool.

"Now Ellie, we've talked a lot about the way we're getting to Diagon Alley, but I must remind you one more time. Do not be afraid of the fire, it won't hurt you."

"I know Dad."

Remus chuckled. "I was just making sure. Okay, ste - "

"Step into the fireplace, grab a handful of Floo powder and say where you want to go, I know."

"Exactly." Remus smiled at his daughter as she let out a giggle.

Grabbing a handful of Floo powder from the bowl, Ellie realized just how nervous she was about getting to where she needed to go. She had never traveled by the floo network before, hell, she had never even traveled by any means of wizard transport before. What if she didn't say it right? What if she ended up in a random place that was nowhere near the place she is supposed to come out of?

Breathe Ellie, she thought. Just breathe.

"Diagonally!" And then she was gone.

"Oh Merlin," Remus sighed.

Trying but failing to rid the dust of her clothes, Ellie briefly scanned the shop she had landed in. One thing was for sure; it was not Flourish and Blotts. As she let out a quiet laugh at her stupidity, she heard the jingle of a bell. Realizing that she was now not alone, she quickly strode over to the nearest hiding place which was conveniently a sort of coffin and hid in it.

"Do not touch anything boy," came a slow drawl.

"I won't Father," came a similar, yet high-pitched one.

Peeking through the eye holes, Ellie could see a pale, pointed-faced man with long and sleek blond hair paired with cold grey eyes. He was dressed in all black with long robes and a walking stick with a snakehead for a handle. There was also a boy who looked to be around her age striding around the shop. He was, as Ellie had heard, the man's son. With his shining, gelled, blond hair, he took in the sight of every different Talisman, Knick Knack, and object in the store before his ice grey eyes landed on the very coffin she was in.

Taking a step back when she noticed he was walking this way, Ellie realized that she was already as far as she could go back in the tomb therefore she would have to hope to Merlin that he didn't open the coffin.

Draco looked over his shoulder to find his father talking to the owner of Borgin and Burkes, taking it as the perfect opportunity to open the sarcophagus. Reaching out his hand he slowly curled his fingers around the door and flung it open. Cringing at the lasting creak it made, his eyes widened when he saw what was in it. There, staring straight into his bulging eyes, was a young girl with dark red hair and deep brown eyes.

Not thinking about how much trouble he would get into after, he quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the door before his father could see.

"What the hell!?" Ellie whisper shouted as she rubbed the pain in her wrist away.

"I should say the same to you. What were you doing in that sarcophagus?" Draco drawled back.

"Hiding from you and your father what the Merlin did it look like?"

"How do you know he's my father's mudblood?"

"I'm a half-blood thank you very much."

"Even worse. Whatever, I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." He held out his hand for her to shake, but she didn't take it.
