Morgan

"You know, I never took you for an old movies fan."

She whipped her head around in the voice's direction. "Really? What makes you say that?"

Roy shrugged and adjusted his heavy coat. His nose and cheeks were a slight pink from the cold February air. He looked positively adorable. "I just assumed that you loved Disney movies the most."

"Oh," she ducked her head into her scarf and smothered a giggle. "That's probably 'cause I am a big Disney fan. But I really do like old movies. To be honest, I think that the old Disney movies were the best."

The pair continued their stroll through the town. The evening sky was a deep purple and the stars were just coming out. They left the movie theater and Morgan smiled as she felt him fumble for her hand. At last, his fingers interlocked with her own.

"Can I tell you a secret?" The handsome man leant down to whisper in her ear. "I haven't seen a Disney movie in years."

Morgan gaped back at him. "What?! How is that possible?!"

Roy chuckled and continued on the sidewalk. "I've just been busy for so long. Jason isn't a big movies fan---and Chase is too much of a movies fan---so I just never bothered."

"Fine," the woman huffed. "Next time, we're gonna have a Disney-marathon at my house. We'll have lots of snacks----and yes," she gave him a stern side-eye. "There will be junk food and candy, because that is what people eat for movie nights."

Roy gave a lighthearted groan. He shook his head and chuckled. "Why are you so against my dislike for junk food? Would you rather I was all fat and greasy instead of muscular and handsome?" He gave her a debonair-worthy wink.

Mo felt her face flame with a heavy blush. Even after a month of dates with him, she still got flustered when he acted flirty. Awkward-Avoidance Viking, where are you when I need you?

"I mean," she tried to conceal her blush. "I just think that you need to learn to let loose sometimes."

The man gave a snort. "I am letting loose!"

He got a sly look in his eyes. Before she could ask what was on his mind, Roy brought their entwined hands to his face and kissed the back of hers. He gave her a heady look through his lowered lashes.

"Why do you think I asked you on a date on Valentines' Day?" His voice had taken a husky tone. He lifted his head and locked gaze with the shorter woman.

Morgan had trouble catching her breath. "D-do you want the truth?" Roy nodded, looking intrigued. "I-I kind of thought that you asked me out because you pitied me."
