Authors Note: I actually really like endeavor as a character, I'm not saying what he did is right I'm just saying I like how he's trying to get better in the anime, I honestly don't think endeavor is any part homophobic in the anime/manga and I do believe he's trying to change so remember this is an AU ||||| also I am a HUGE multi shipper, please don't criticize the ships i chose for this post, like kamijiro, i still do ship shinkami I just ship Kaminari with other people too

Midoriya and Todoroki have been dating for a few months now, the only people who knew though were the class as they were specific not to make their relationship public. No one knew why they wanted to keep it from the public but they respected their fellow classmates and kept their secret, only Midoriya knew why Todoroki wanted to keep the new found relationship a secret, his dad. Endeavor has planned out his sons life "perfectly", he would train to be the best, marry a faithful housewife, and surpass All Might, that was the goal no? well with All Might's retirement you'd think Endeavor would drop his obsession with his son but no, this inspired him more, the spot for "The Symbol of Peace" is open for taking.

"Hey you okay?"

Todoroki was deep in thought about the risk of tonight but he was suddenly brought back to his senses when his boyfriend came up to him with a worried expression. You see tonight was their first hero gala besides I-Island and they were excited to go, knowing they could take the opportunity to spend it as a date, but Todoroki was worried his father would find them and how he would react seeing his son stepping out of line this profusely.

"Yeah I'm fine"

Midoriya was not fooled by this, he knew his boyfriend.

"If you're that worried about tonight then we don't have to go together, we can always go on another date!"

Todoroki felt bad hearing that, he knew that his boyfriend had been looking forward to this and was excited to go with him, he really didn't want to take that away from him. in that moment he grabbed Midoriya's hand and looked him in the eyes. 

"Hey it's okay, we're still going no matter if he's there or not, i want to go with you"

Midoriya lit up at hearing this and hugged Todoroki, him hugging back

"you better go get changed if you plan on leaving anytime soon"

They arrive at the gala with a few of their classmates who decided to ride together, they were with the whole Dekusquad but they met up with the Bakusquad+Jiro once they got inside. speaking of inside, once they got inside it was magical. Sure they have been to a gala before but it wasn't like this one, and they didn't get to experience that one due to the villains. there where heroes everywhere, a few new stations, and the place was HUGE. Todoroki had to control his fanboy boyfriend  or else he would run off trying to get everyone's autographs.

"What happened to keeping this on the downlow?" Todoroki and Midoriya looks up to see Kirishima joking around with them, but he had a point they were all over each other with Todoroki's arm around his boyfriend as they speak.

Midoriya quickly got embarrassed which earned a smile from Todoroki and a laugh from the others, then Todoroki answered the question. "well there's a reason we're hiding it, and that reasons not here right now so we can do whatever we want as long as we stay off cameras"
