-Ella's POV-

I had potions class with the wonder professor Snape. He seemed very scary but nice at the same time. The room was dimly lit. The windows were blocked with black curtains and there were a few candles scattered around the room. I took my seat placing myself in between Tae and Angel. The boys sat at another table.

"Opennn your book to page 2..10,"said the professor. He elongated ever word which made his sentence seem like an eternity. "Today we will brewww the cure for boil, the instruction are on the page. Read them carefullyyyy. You will find everything you needd in the back pantry work with your table to get it done. First house to finish it properrrrlyyyy earns points. You may beginn."

I glanced at my partners and looked at the instructions.

well that didn't seem too hard.

"I'll grab the fangs you get a mortar," said Angel and made her way to the pantry. I grabbed a mortar and waited for Angel to get back. I crushed the fangs which was surprisingly harder than I imagined. I pressed down and was able to break up a few of them. Then Tae took over and finished off the rest. We heated the mixture and counted exactly ten seconds. Angel waved her wand and we waited for it to brew. A few moments later the cure looked just like the example he showed us earlier.

"Professor, we finished our potion!" I called out.

"Is that so Miss. Black?" he said making his way to our table. He stirred it and checked all the properties then nodded and walked away. "Congratulationsss to Miss Blacks group. They were able to brewww the proper cure first. 20 points for Gryffindor. Class dismissed."

"Yes we did it!" said Tae picking up her text book.

"I'm proud that was fun!" replied Angel. We walked out the classroom to find the boys there already.

"We should go to our next class. It is pretty far from here and we won't want to be late on our first day!" said Noah. The others walked ahead while I stayed back to tie my shoe lace. I finished quickly and looked up to find Noah smiling down on me. "Let's go," he said with a wink. I smiled back at him and started walking.

"Ella, I want to get to know you better you seem very nice," he said grinning. I couldn't help but blush.

"Thank you Noah, not in any rude way but what is your blood status?" I don't and didn't want to offend him but I want to know more about him.

"Oh, I am half-blood. My dad is a wizard my mom is a muggle. She is very understanding of us magic people. It is pretty cool best of both worlds if you know what I mean. What is yours?"

"I am pure-blooded. I love your mindset that's so cool. For me both my parents are wizards and so are their descendants,"

"You don't have to answer this but during the sorting ceremony the hat brought up Tonks and Bellatrix. I know both, they are pretty famous for their own things. Why'd he bring them up?" he asked. Oh he seemed so innocent.

"I am the daughter of Regulus Black. Tonks, Bellatrix and Narcissa are all his cousins. They are my aunts in a sense. So the hat said I could be in almost any house because I had the blood of them in me and the characteristics of each," I think I may have over shared. No no I didn't, they are part of my family I can't change that.

"That is honestly pretty cool. Also don't be ashamed about who's in your family," he talked as if he could read my mind, "Your family is filled with amazing wizards and witches. For them they are living their life the right way you may see it as wrong and embarrassing but you can't change them. Plus they don't define you." I felt my face turn hot.

"It's like you read my mind. That meant a lot to me thank y-"

"Please don't thank me I should be sorry for brining it up,"

"No don't be, you're fine,"

"You're perfect," I nudged him and kept walking, thankfully we arrived to class. It's not that he did anything wrong. I just couldn't figure out what to say next. Now I needed him out of my mind and try to remember everything my mom told me. Leaping toadstools cost three Galleons at the Apothecary in Diagon Alley, and can be found in the Forbidden Forest.

-Noah's POV-

(surprise!)

"We should go to our next class. It is pretty far from here and we won't want to be late on our first day!" everyone nodded at me and started walking. I turned back to find Ella tying her shoe lace. This is perfect. Ella is gorgeous and very sweet. I must admit all of the Gryffindor girls are pretty but they were either bratty or talk to much. Ella was neither. "Let's go," I winked when she finished her knot.

"Ella, I want to get to know you better you seem very nice," I said turning to her again. If you couldn't tell I am a very straight forward person and I didn't want to miss my shot.

"Thank you Noah, not in any rude way but what is your blood status?" I knew Ella wouldn't judge me based on my blood status so I wouldn't mind giving her some information.

"Oh, I am half-blood. My dad is a wizard my mom is a muggle. She is very understanding of us magic people. It is pretty cool best of both worlds if you know what I mean. What is yours?" I hope she understood me.

So the hat said I could be in almost any house because I had the blood of them in me and the characteristics of each," I read every court case for Black I couldn't tell her that'll be creepy.

Plus they don't define you."If I were her I would've felt ashamed so I wanted to make sure she was alright.

"No don't be, you're fine," Should I play it cool or should I make her day, very hard decision.

"You're perfect," I saw her light face turn bright pink. She really was adorable. I turned my head so she doesn't catch me staring. Ella Black you will be mine one day.
