-Ella's POV-

We entered the hall and walked up to the table. I sat down next to George. Noah, by chance, sat next to me. Everyone was occupied with their conversation, except Fred, who was absent from the table. I quickly searched the tables with my head turned. He didn't take a seat at all of them. A wave of anxiety washed through me.

"Everything okay?" asked Noah looking up from his food.

"I have to use the restroom." I'll return as soon as possible. I quickly walked out of the hall after saying, "You guys start eating okay." I wasn't hungry any longer; instead, I was concerned. I know Fred isn't hungry at this time of year, but what is he doing? He's not the sort to quit without making an announcement. He'll just go to the boy's dorm if nothing else works out. I'll be able to get in and no one will be there.

I dashed to Gryffindor Tower and descended the stairwell. I entered after giving the fat lady the password. There was no one in the common room, or at the very least the main hall. Slowly, I made my way up the stairwell to the first-year section. The door was shut, as I had planned, indicating that someone was inside. With the exception of Fred, all of the first-year boys were there, so it had to be him.

"Freddie? Are you okay?" I asked making my way towards his bed.

"It's just that I'm not hungry," he says. I would have believed it if it hadn't been for the fact that his voice was cracking with each word. Fred never cries, but I couldn't help but feel horrible. I flung myself next to him and encircled him with my shoulder. We remained like that for a while because he didn't say anything. It didn't bother me, though.

"There you guys are!" said a voice from the door. I didn't notice someone had come in. I turned to find Noah.

"We were just talking," said Fred not moving.

"Oh, I see. Ella is it alright if I have a talk with Fred?"

"Of course I'll be downstairs!" I said and carefully got up. I rubbed Fred's back and made my way out of the room. I started back to the common room and sat on one of the red couches near the fireplace and waited.

-Noah's POV-

"I need to use the bathroom I'll be right back. You guys start eating okay," she said and walked out of the hall. That was a lie she obviously just wanted to find Fred. I need to go after her but not make it suspicious to the rest of them.

I finished my plate and told everyone I need to get my quil from my trunk. That wasn't a lie though.

I got into the common room and went up to the boy's dorm. Just what I feared, Ella and Fred were sitting arms around each other. She is mine now why couldn't he get that. These Weasley's really are annoying huh.

"There you guys are!"I said in a joyful voice. Ella turned and smiled.

"Yeah, we were just talking," said Weaselbee not looking up. The temptations to say things to him were high but I couldn't since Ella was here.

"Oh, I see. Ella is it alright if I have a talk with Fred?"

"Of course I'll be downstairs!" she was so clueless. I closed the door behind her and turned to Fred. He still hasn't moved from where they were sitting.

"Never come close to her again, I am trying to get a shot you need to back off!" Now what bothered me is that he didn't move a muscle. "Look at me when I talk to you, disrespectful git!"

Surprisingly he got up and stood right in front of me.

"I think the sorting hat made a mistake for making you a Gryffindor, where is your kindness and helpfulness?" he said in a quiet voice, quiet but confident. I had no clue what to say next. He annoyed me so much. I stared right into his eyes and punched him right in the stomach. He tumbled to the floor with a grunt.

"Pathetic,"

-Fred's POV-

I stood up and locked my gaze on him. I had no idea what I was going to do, but I was furious. If I injure him, Noah will use it against me, and everybody will think I'm the bad guy.

"I think the sorting hat made a mistake for making you a Gryffindor, where is your kindness and helpfulness?" I said aggressively. I had intended to make it louder, but it didn't matter because he heard it. He didn't flinch at all. He stared into my eyes as though he was looking into my soul. I returned his stare with my own. He swung his fist right at my stomach in a split second. I slid backwards and remained motionless on the deck. I wish I'd eaten because he'd be covered in puke. My stomach ached, but I was good at concealing it.

"Pathetic," he finally said. The dorm room swung open.

Ella.
