Doc stood in front of the decently sized glass mirror in Bdubs bathroom. He truthfully didn't understand why he had been so overwhelmed by the pathetic man that was LuxShield. Judging by his apartment he didn't make much money, he had way way too many plants(But Doc was happy with that), and above all, He was kind of a slob. Not horrible, just the occasional small messes Doc would find as he explored his foes apartment. Doc liked things clean, and seeing this sad apartment made it feel like he was being torn apart again. The cyborg sighed as he stared at his robotic arm in the mirror, its gears and springs slowly turning at all times, causing his fingers to twitch every few seconds. His gaze followed up his arm and to his face. First the human side, then the..not so human side. Deep metal plates grazed the left side of his face, them meeting at the center and digging into the ridge of his nose. The only human thing left of his face was the right side. Though long scars ran down his nose. If you were met by that side of his face, you might actually think he was normal. Doc clenched his fist and turned out and into the hall. As he passed the counter, his hand snagged the beat up cup Bdubs had thrown at him and placed it under the faucet. He stood in the echoing silence of the water slowly filling the cup, and once it was full carefully let the liquid drivil out onto one of the many plants Bdubs had in the apartment. The plants were one of the only things Doc liked about the place. It reminded him of a time when he wasn't...this. But let's be honest, Doc was always destined to become the Mangled Villain he had become. The other thing he liked about the plants however, was that it answered a question the cyborg had had in his mind for a while.

'Where did LuxShield get his power.' and he had found it. LuxSheild, or Bdubs, his mind corrected, Uses orbs of mass light energy as his defence, each of those orbs however can only last around 30 minutes or burst on impact. The orb slowly loses its energy and size every minute. The energy needed for this comes from Bdubs himself, so due to the extreme loss of energy, he drinks high caffeine drinks and has plants littering his apartment. Which is why he works at a coffee shop and owns so many plants.

"Oh my god man, he is like a walking energy plant!" Doc laughed at the realization. His laughter faded a few seconds after, his smile turning to a frown. His mind began to race. 'When exactly was the first time he encountered LuxShield?' His thoughts were stopped by the sudden pound on the door. His neck turned in a quick panic as a muffled voice sounded from the other side.

"Ello? Bdubs luv are you home?" The voice called. The sudden jolt caused Doc's neck to crack awkwardly, his hand quickly clasping the back of his neck. His foot banged against the wood floor as he quickly stood up. Oh they definitely heard that. Doc's mind screamed in panic and pain as his robotic arm struggled to grab his white coat. The realization of it still laying on the bathroom counter struck him as his hands laided instead on the bare couch. Doc looked around for something and spotted a black hoodie.

"Everything ok?" The voice, female, asked. The cyborg stared at the door for a second. They already knew someone was inside, so he had to answer.

Stress stood outside of her neighbors door, Small water jug in hand. A few weeks back Bdubs, who she has known since highschool, asked her to water his plants one day. She didn't want to question the new obsession with plants he gained a few years prior so agreed. Now out of habit she would check on him before going inside her apartment. To water the plants, and check up on her self proclaimed son. As the two and their mutual would often joke about how Stress was very much the mother of the group. Her wrist bounced gently against the wooden door, the sound quietly echoing down the hall.

"Ello? Bdubs luv are you home?" She said, waiting for a response. A few rustling noises came from the other side as a male voice grunted. Suddenly there was a loud bang that caused Stress to jump, almost spilling the jug of water.

"Everything ok?" She asked awkwardly, rocking on her heels. A few seconds later the door opened and instead of seeing Bdubs, Stress was greeted by the fabric of a black hoodie. Then she realized whoever opened the door was significantly taller than her friend as she looked up at this new person. Whoever stared back at her with a cold and pancied eye, as the rest of his face could not be seen due to the door. He was tall, his hair was awkwardly ruffled, he was wearing a hoodie that was obviously Bdubs, and in Bdubs apartment... 'Oh my goodness Bdubs had a boy over-'

"Oh? Ello! Bdubs never told me he was goin' to hav anyone over!" Stress smiled. The man's face switched to one of confusion as Stress continued. "May I come in? Or is Bdubs not..well you know," Stress giggled. The man's facial expression changed as her words calculated in his brain. He nodded, still not saying a word and opened the door more. Stress giggled as she walked inside.

"Is Bdubs here?" She asked as she glanced around the room.

"No." The man said from behind her, still standing at the door. Stress turned around, interested in seeing what Bdubs saw about this guy that he would let him be in his apartment. "He uh, had to go out and do some things," the man said, he jumped when he saw Stress's gaze. The man was much much taller than her and Bdubs, who was only a few inches above her. His head was angled so only the left side of his face was showing and his hands were dug deep into the pockets of his jeans. 'He looks uncomfortable,' Stress laughed to herself, 'Must be the silent type,'

"Sorry if I stopped by at a bad time! Bdubs had asked me to water his plants," She said motioning to the jug in her hands, "I can come back later if needed-"

"I already watered them. So no need to come back," The man stated, still not making eye contact. Stress nodded.

"All 'ight then! Well I'll get out of your hair. Tell Bdubs I said Hi ok luv," Stress smiled as she began to head back out into the hall. The man nodded and quickly side stepped as Stress passed by him. She could feel his eyes on her back as she stepped out into the hall, the door closing behind her. Stress giggled to herself, happy to see that Bdubs could possibly have a boyfriend. She was so proud of her little son. Stress went to go grab her keys when she remembered she still had the jug of water in hand. She spun on her heel and swung the door back open. "Oh and here's some extra water if you need-" Stress froze. The man was turned towards her, hoodie off. His robotic hand gripped to the black fabric as his glowing red eye stared at her. The Mangler, Bdubs had a super villain in his apartment.
