'You think you could just show up in my face and ruin my date?!' Toga yelled. I've never seen her so angry before, besides the time when she was a villain and had that killer glance..

'Let me explain please...' Toga's father plead.

'Enough, Toga and you too Mr. Toga.' I said. The two of them cooled off for a while then I could hear footsteps echoing from behind, when I turned my head around, it was that lady with him, well Toga's mom.

'Dear what's wron-' She too paused when she saw Toga. Her face changed quickly and I could see that she was ashamed of herself.

'Who's this man?' She asked Toga.

'Non of your business mom...I shouldn't even be calling you that anymore.' She said.

'Look dear...its complicated and we know we did it wrongly...'

'You don't have to explain...sigh...' Toga sighed as she rested her head on the table.

'Look Toga...' I pulled her closer and signaled her parents to leave us alone for a while. She tried to hide her emotions from me...but she just couldn't and broke down in tears and sank into my chest. I wrap my arms around her neck and hugged her to comfort her.

'I'm so sorry you had to see me like this...its just...I-I...they just showed up like that...' She wiped her tears.

'I'm not siding them or what not Toga, but maybe we should all sit down and talk it out to resolve this once and for all.' I said.

'I...I don't think I'm ready for that...they abandoned me when I needed them the most and now they showed up like nothing happened...'

'Do you trust me Toga?'

'I do...but not my parents...'

'Then let trust me on this, I want to tell you this though.' I toned down a bit.

'What is it, you can tell me anything.' She said.

'A long time ago my dad left our family to work abroad, he never came back not even wishing me for my birthday, not even visiting me or leaving any regards when I was wounded back at the training camp. Mom's been the only figure in my life who supports me before and after I got my quirk, She's always busy but she always try to spend time with me. Dad still send funds home but never really had any real conversation with him, and occasionally I could hear mom yelling angrily at the phone. I've been missing my parent since my childhood, I just envy people who had a complete family when I was younger. I just don't want see another family broken apart by conflict...let me help you Toga...' I said as I give me hand to her.

'I...m-maybe, but I don't guarantee it .' She said.

'Thanks Toga, even if there's a small chance, there's still a chance.'

'I should be the one thanking you...but really we could just walk out of the cafe.' She said.

'It'll be fine, let's go.' I said as I came out with Toga from the corner wall. Her parents now sat opposite of us.

'Look, I'm only doing this because Izu wants me to, not for any of you both.' She said.

'Izu? Is that your name young man?' Toga's father asked.

'Oh! I haven't introduced myself, I'm Izuku Midoriya and you are?' I said.

'I'm Hiroshi Toga, nice to meet you Mr. Midoriya..' He said.

'I'm Miko, nice to meet you.' She smiled gently at me then retracted her smile.

'So, I just wanted to clear this up between us. I know you hate us for what we did.' Hiroshi said.
