After the boys introduced themselves they got right back to work. I know I'm supposed to be getting information on the team, but its pretty hard to not just sit back and be amazed but the athleticism. I watch in awe as Daichi receives a ball that is just inches off the the floor. I can see way Oikawa sees them as competition. They are pretty good. As I'm soaking up all the power and energy that is radiating off the team I'm suddenly brought back to earth when Suga comes up to me. " Hey y/n so how are you liking the team?" He seems pretty nervous and isn't making direct eye contact. I'm not sure why yet. "Um you all seem really good at what you do. I don't think I could do half of the stuff y'all do." "Oh sure you can! I can teach you the basics if you'd like." He rubs the back of his head and smiles at me. Oh he has such a cute smile! "Well if its not too much of a burden I think that would be nice." I try not to blush but I'm pretty sure my efforts failed.
He takes me to the other side of the court where there was less people and hand me a volleyball. "Well we should try receives. Toss the ball to me?" I toss the ball to him and it bounces off of his arms flawlessly. " See not too hard." He smiles again. " You're up next." He tosses the ball towards me and I try too mimic what he just did but somehow the ball bounced awkwardly off my hands and hits Hinata. "Ouch!" "omg I'm so sorry!" That's so embarrassing I turn back slowly and see Suga dying of laughter. " y/n that was great but maybe we should work on you technique" he says in between giggles. He smiles, stands up straight, and walks towards me. "First of all you need to bend your knees and lean over just a bit." I attempt to do as he said but it still doesn't look like what he was doing. Then he comes behind me and says " Is it okay is I touch you?" I think I almost passed out right then and there. " Yeah that's okay." He puts his hands on my waist and adjusts accordingly then he takes my hands and places them in the proper place. " There you go now try again." He tosses the ball again but this time it didn't fly out of control when it bounced off on my arms. "That a significant improvement next thing you know you'll be replacing Daichi".
I didn't know what I was expecting when I came to spy on the Karasuno Volleyball team, but I would have never guessed that I would be falling for one of their setters.
