This is partially a chapter for Patton's birthday and also my attempt to not rely on speech to move a story along. {Tell me if its bad - Actually don't -}

Dear diary, March 4th - 6th
This Week has been hectic. Today was my first 'week' at my new school - ✨YAY✨ - Granted it was the middle of the school year, but that doesn't matter much.
As you know I wasn't very popular in my last school. I didn't have many friends which is a good thing, Right? Less people to miss.
I just hope Virgie is gonna be okay on his own.
After my parents split mum wanted to 'Downsize' from the city to a little town in the middle of nowhere!
"I promise we'll talk as often as we can!" I say, getting into the car waving to Virgil and his boyfriend, Logan.
Anyway, back on topic,
New school, New people, New classes, New Bullies to put up with.
The best thing about moving is figuring out who is genuinely nice and who just wants to be mean

Thursday 4th
Arriving at the large double doors at the front of the building. Walking in I'm greeted by a shy looking person. They say 'Hello' and what I can only assume is a pre-rehearsed welcome speech. Thomas walked around the school pointing and explaining where everything was, while I silently followed. To be honest it is a pretty simple layout, two floors: two corridors for science, and one for History/geography and one more just of spare classrooms on the lower floor, and Maths, English, ICT and Modern Foreign Languages on the top floor.
The tour finished at the Head Teacher's office so that I could get my schedule and Locker number and combination for the rest of the year.
After that I went to my classes, Nothing really exciting happened throughout the day, except two boys at lunch got into a very loud argument, they looked similar to each other, Probably family of some description.
Friday 5th
I decided to arrive at school a little early to come to school early to make it to registration before the other students arrived.
Once inside the room I noticed it was almost empty of students, as I had hoped.
Obviously there was the teacher at the front of the room but also Thomas at the back of the room.
I go up to the teacher desk to introduce myself and ask where I should sit. He says that there was a choice between two open spots; one close to the middle-front and the other at the back next to Thomas.
Deciding to sit with Thomas, I made my way to the back of the room.
Tapping on their shoulder to get their attention. They slowly lift their head, dropping the hood and removing one of their earbuds.
I asked if it would be a problem if I sat in the seat beside them, they gave a small nod as 'confirmation', as Logan would say.
We started talking and getting to know each other, most of the other students had filled in by this point and Mr. Leaves started taking the register.
The two boys from yesterday had another argument again at lunch, I really need to ask Thomas if that is an everyday thing or I'm just 'lucky' enough to get it on my first two days.
By the time the day had ended I was worn out, I discovered that one of the boys is in my science class, and the other is in my history.
Just before I leave I hear somewhere calling my name, so I turn around to see Thomas running up to me.
They asked if I was free to hang out tomorrow (today, in like an hour).
Of course I agreed not having any more unpacking to do.
Saturday 6th
To sum this week up, I met a cute person and we are hanging out this afternoon. I must tell Virgie about this. I'll tell you all about how it went. But that is for another entry.
Until next time
Lovingly, Patton Hanson (Dear Evan Hanson,)
