little backstory:)
-you are a shield agent just like maria
-ur kinda in love with her
-rn you are on a mission in a hydra compound, to get an important hard drive.
summary: you and maria go on a mission together.
"you check that room and i'll go in this one" you say and you quickly walk into a room full of files.
you begin to look around for the hard drive you and maria are supposed to get.
"whats on the hard drive again?" you ask into your earpiece.
"a big list of people hydra has worked with, fury didnt give me much information but he said it was important."
BOOM.
everything went black.

"y/n do you copy?" you hear maria say into your earpiece. "Y/N DO YOU COPY!" maria repeats.
you slowly open your eyes and look around, you see dust flying around you and the some walls have collapsed around you.
"Y/N?" maria sounds worried.
"yea yea i copy" you get up and start walking out of the room.
"are you still on the 7th floor?" she asks
"yea i am where are you?" you look around searching for her
"im on my way" she comes around the corner and steps over a pile of fallen bricks. she comes close and pulls you into a hug.
"im glad you're safe" she pulls away and checks the cut on your head. "does that hurt?" she says and she slowly places her hands on your head taking a close look.
"no it doesnt im fine" you put your hand on hers and blush a little.
"right" maria blushes aswell and takes a few steps back. "this building is full of hydra agents and they know we're here so lets get what we're here for and leave"
she turns around and starts walking to the other side of the 7th floor. "fury said it was on the 7th so it should be here somewhere"
she walks into one of the rooms looking around quickly with one hand on her gun. you walk into a different room and do the same.
time jump:)
"nothing here" she walks into the room you're in
"nothing here so far" you grab the ladder and place it against the large cupboard filled with files and boxes.
you climb on it and you feel maria's hand on your back giving you butterflies.
"got it" you take the hard drive out of the box and jump down right next to maria.
you are so close you can feel her breath, you blush a little and you quickly look down and put the hard drive into your pocket. she places her hand on your cheek and your eyes meet. for a moment time seems to stop but in the distance you hear people yelling, she quickly steps back and grabs your hand leading you out of the room. you grab your gun and she begins to push a few buttons on her cellphone
"the helicopter is on its way" she quickly pulls you up some stairs leading you to the roof.
"STOP RIGHT THERE" some hydra agents follow you up the stairs.
you and maria dodge some bullets and quickly shoot them down. she swings open a small door and lets you out first. your eyes adjust to the light and you see the helicopter waiting right infront of you. you walk to the helicopter but quickly turn around again as you see some agents coming through the door.
you pull your gun and shoot them down.
"good job y/n i didnt notice them" maria says and she helps you on the helicopter.
when you sit down next to her she pulls out a first aid kit and moves some hair out of your face.
"that cut needs some cleaning" she gives you a little smile as she begins to clean the cut. she comes close and you feel your cheeks turn a bright red.
time jump:)
"all done! im not a profesional but i think i did a pretty good job" she laughs.
you place your hand on hers and she smiles
"you did a great job" you say and you put your other hand on her cheek.
her arm snakes around your waist and she pulls you in placing a small kiss on your lips.
after a few seconds she pulls away
"i've been wanting to do that for so long" she whispers as she runs her hands through your hair. "me too" you say and you pull her back into the kiss.
