"i brought our fave!" you smiled as you sat down next to your girlfriend on a blanket in the park.
"nice," she pulled you in for a gentle kiss and patted her lap. you layed your head down and she took the jane austen novel pride and prejudice from you. "i brought strawberries," she says looking down and carresing your cheek.
"yay," you smiled and she opened the book and began to read as you focused on her beautifull features.
"it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."
you looked at her curly hair that slightly danced up and down as she flipped through the pages of your favourite book, you looked at her green eyes that moved from the book to your eyes, and back to the book every few minutes to see if you were enjoying yourself. you looked at her lips that would curl up into a smile whenever you would lift her hand from the book to place a kiss on the top. (thats a reference to the book)
"you are dancing with the only handsome girl in the room, said mr. darcy, looking at the eldest miss bennet. oh! she is the most beautifull creature i ever beheld! mr. bingly replied."
"just like you," she said smilling and she placed a kiss on your nose, "lets have those strawberries now yea?" she put the book down.
you nodded and carefully handed her the tote bag she brought, she took out the strawberries and you sat next to her.
"mr bingly and darcy are so romantic,"
"mhm," she nodded agreeing with your statement
"but thats only because they are written by a woman,"
you chuckle and she leans on your shoulder, you wrap your arm around her. "i like this," she closed her eyes.
"yea me too," you place a quick kiss on her temple before picking up the book again.
"when jane and elizabeth were alone, the former, who had been cautious in her praise of mr. bingley before, expressed to her sister how very much she admired him."
you stopped reading after a while and just sat on the blanket talking and sharing sweet kisses.
"y/n can we have book dates forever?"
"yea i'd like that."

i absolutely loved writing this chapter, this is my idea of a perfect date, and also pride and prejudice is my favourite book you should really check it out!
