Eleven- Meredith

I wake up next to Cormac and I smile. Last night truly did happen.

"Morning" says Cormac. My god his morning voice is the sexiest thing I have ever heard "Morning" I reply. Cormac moves closer to me and kisses me, still half asleep "did you sleep okay?" Asks Cormac, I smile and nod "did you?" I ask, he nods.

"What time is it?" I ask as Cormac kisses my shoulder lovingly "time for cuddles" replies Cormac. Yes please. But my kids. I need to pick them up from Maggie's. It's Saturday. I could just leave them "you don't have work do you?" I ask, he shakes his head "not till tomorrow" he replies. I smile

"I was going to get the kids and go home" I say "No, stay, cuddles" Cormac protests before kissing the crook of my neck softly. "Cuddles sounds good" I reply, kissing his cheek. He snuggles into me and we lay there for a while.

I must've fallen asleep because when I wake up it seems later in the day "Cormac" I say, shaking him awake, he looks at me "We fell asleep" says Cormac. I chuckle "we did indeed" I reply

I decide to check the time myself and see that it's one in the afternoon already "I really should go" I say, he pouts and tries to keep me there "don't go" says Cormac

"I have to get them from my sister's" I reply "she can bring them here" says Cormac "Cormac please, not this again, I'm not ready for my kids to meet you yet" I reply

"I just assumed since you said I love you last night that perhaps you'd be ready to introduce me to your kids" Says Cormac "that was an accident" I reply

"So you didn't mean it then? You just said it because I said something nice?" Asks Cormac "No, I meant it I just didn't mean to say it so early on. Please stop twisting my words" I reply, he shakes his head  "I'm not twisting your words, to me it sounded like you didn't mean it" says Cormac

"Well I did mean it. I'm just not ready for you to meet my kids yet okay?" I say, he just sighs "I don't understand why though" says Cormac, I sigh

"I told you this the first time that I wait a while before letting people into my kids lives, I thought you of all people would respect that" I reply, Cormac raises his eyebrows "I treat you with nothing but respect, don't try and pull respect on me" says Cormac sternly "Look, I don't want a fight just let me go and get my kids" I say

"When did you let Andrew see your kids?" Asks Cormac "why is that relevant?" I ask "answer the question" says Cormac

"After a month and a half" I reply, he nods "I expect to see them at the same time" Says Cormac "you'll see them when I want you to see them, you don't get to decide what happens to my fucking kids. You might be my boyfriend but that does not just give you the right to walk into my kids' lives. Now, I'm leaving to go get my kids, text me when you've fixed your fucking attitude" I reply before walking out of his room and out of his house

I get in my car and drive to Maggie's house. "Hey, Mags, sorry it's later than I thought" I say as Maggie opens the door "no worries, come in" replies Maggie

"Aunty MerMer!" Exclaims McKinley as he runs towards me. Him and Zach are two years old now which is mental. I pick him up, hugging him tightly "Hey there, Kinney!" I exclaim before putting him down and picking up Zach who just ran towards me "Hey, Zach" I say. I cuddle Zach for a moment before putting him down

"Did you and Cormac have a good night?" Asks Maggie "it was perfect and then today it's all gone to shit" I say, Maggie sighs "what happened this time?" Asks Maggie. I sigh and tell her everything from the moment I knocked on his door last night to the moment I left this morning

"You said I love you?" Asks Maggie almost excitedly "I didn't mean to. Obviously I meant it, I do love him but I don't know whether I'm ready for him to meet the kids yet and that was mainly what our little tiff was about I guess" I reply
