that was when the door opened.
and she was standing there.
eleven.

"is that...?" max asks, as we all nod.
i immediatly start crying, but no one's crying more than mike. as she walks through the door, the first person she notices is mike. they hug for a while and then she sees me. i smile.
"hi el. i missed you." i say, as she hugs me.
"hi y/n/n. i missed you too." she said, and then went back to mike.
"i never gave up on you. i called you every night. every night for-"
"353 days. i heard." she cried.
"why didn't you tell me you were there? that you were okay?" mike asked.
"becuase i wouldn't let her." hopper anwsered. holy shit. she was with him the whole time.
"the hell is this, where have you been?" hopper asked her.
"where have you been." el cried, and then they hugged.
"you've been hiding her." mike said.
"you've been hiding her this whole time!"
mike said, then pushed hop.
"hey, hey, hey! let's talk. alone." he said, whilst grabbing mike's shirt.

she was hugging dustin and lucas and they were saying that they missed each other.
"we talked about you pretty much every day." dustin said. then she put her hand in his mouth.
"teeth." el said.
"what?" he said.
"you have teeth." explained el.
he laughed.
"oh. you like these pearls?" he purred. it was that weird thing he did when people were talking about teeth.
"eleven?" max said, introducing herself.
"hey, um, i'm max. y/n's girlfriend.i've heard a lot about you." she said, whilst holding my hand and holding out her other one for el to shake. but el just walked past her.
"babe, it's okay. she's probably just nervous." i told max. she nodded her head and smiled a me, so i smiled back.
she went up and hugged joyce and said hello.
"can i see him?" el asked. they went to will's room to see him.

"you've opened this gate before, right?" joyce asked her.
"yes." el whispered.
"do you think if we could get back there, you could close it?" joyce asked her. she nodded her head yes very slowly.

"it's not like it was before. it's grown. a lot. and, i mean,that's considering we can get in there. the place is crawling with those dogs." hopper claimed.
"demo-dogs." dustin corrected.
"i'm sorry, what?" hopper asked.
"i said- uh, demo-dogs. like demogorgan and dogs. you can put them together,it sounds pretty badass-" dustin repeated.
"how is this important right now?" hopper shouted.
"it's not, i'm sorry." dustin apolgised.
"i can do it." el said.
we all looked at her.
"you're not hearing me." hopper said.
"i'm hearing you, i can do it." she said again.
"even if el can, theres still another problem, if the brain dies, the body dies.
"i thought that was the whole point." max pointed out.
"it is, but if we're really right about this... i mean if el closes the gate and kills the mind flayer's army..."
"will's a part of that army." lucas says.
"closing the gate will kill him." mike says. we follow joyce into will's room where he's laying on the bed unconcious.
"he likes it cold." joyce whispers.
"what?" hopper asks.
"it't what will kept saying to me. he likes it cold." she repeated.
she closed the window.
" we keep giving it what it wants." she said.
"if this is a virus, and will is the host, then..."
"we need to make the host uninhabitable." johnathan and nancy say.
"so if he likes it cold..."
"... we need to burn it out of him." joyce says.
"we have to do it somewhere he dosen't know this time." mike says.
"yeah, somewhere far away." i agree.
hop looks like he has a plan.

joyce, nancy and johnathan set off with will to hopper's cabin in the woods whilst we stay here, at joyce's house. hopper also sets off with el to close the gate, so we're stuck with steve harrington, again. we stood outside and watched them drive away before going back into the house.

i was sitting cleaning everything off the floor with max, lucas and mike. i could tell that mike was stressing about el and will,becuase he was pacing,so i went up and hugged him.
"hey, they're gonna be okay. i promise." i said, hugging my best friend. i think max got a little lonely though because when we pulled away from the hug, she stuck her lip out like she was sad, so i went and sat on her lap and kissed her, when steve came in the room.
"woah, okay. can you not make out in front of me? you're children." that made us laugh and kiss even more.
"get a room!" lucas shouted, which had us all on the floor laughing.
