Y/N's POV:

Cold. It's cold. That's the first thing I remembered.

Ahh fuck. My head.

I groaned as the unfamiliar sounds of people and the feeling of shaking movement came into view.

What happened?

One moment I was at home, watching Captain America the Winter Soldier, now I was-

Where was I?

I opened my eyes enough to see people sitting across from me. They we just looking at their phones, unbothered. I looked to my left to see metal poles and seats and more people.

I had been leaning on one of those poles for—

How long have I been asleep?

My mind finally caught up with me as my eyes had filled opened.

This was NOT the place I had last been when I was awake.

This was a train.

How? There were no trains that I ever took in Seattle.

Was I still in Seattle?

I would have freaked out, but it didn't feel like anything was wrong. The people around me didn't seem to notice that I wasn't supposed to be here.

They acted like I was just like everyone else.

Was I?

Slowly, I turned around in my seat and looked outside the window. I didn't recognize a thing. There weren't any landmarks or street signs that I could identify.

Now I started to freak out.

I turned to a lady I was sitting next to.

"Hi, um excuse me?" I asked while poking her shoulder.

"What?" she said in a heavy New York accent.

"Um, where is the next stop?" I asked.

"Queens. Stop number, i-don't-know because it's not my stop!" she said and turned back to her newspaper.

QUEENS?!?!

NEW YORK?!?!?

HOW WAS I IN NEW YORK?!?!?

This cannot be happening. How was I so far from home?

How did I get here overnight?

As far as I could tell, no one kidnapped me, took me all the way to New York just to leave me on a train.

"All passengers. Please stand clear of the doors. We are now approaching stop #37 to Queens, NY," an overhead voice chimed.

I have to get off at this stop and figure out what the fuck was happening.

Maybe I could call my parents and get back home?

How would I explain this to them?

The train came to a stop at an outdoor station, and as soon as the doors opened I ran out and down the runway. I looked for any pay phones or something, even though I had no money.

Where should I go?

I ran down the steps and into the street. I told myself to stay calm, and just try to find a phone. As I got down into the streets of Queens, I looked around for the nearest shop. My eyes fell upon a random coffee shop, so I decided to go inside.

Even though things were so wrong, I still had a gut feeling that nothing was wrong. That I was where I was supposed to be.

There was no line, so I rushed up to the counter and started the girl working at the cashier.
