A bitter day, it will all get erased like this."Hyunseung, wake up!"
"5 more minutes." He grumbled.
"Your girlfriend is waiting for you, downstairs.".
His eyes shot wide open, Hyuna?
He hurriedly woke up and rushed downstairs.
"Hyu- Jihyun?" He raised an eyebrow.
Why does my heart sink when It was supposed to jump in joy?
"Hyunseung." She spoke.
"Are you done with Hyuna?"
"I was never starting with her at the first place." He sighed looking away,
"And she was the one to let go to be honest."
"Can't you see that you've put her in danger?"
He growled in frustration, "Me!? Me!? It wasn't even me who brought up that dare!"
"I didn't know that they will take this seriously!" She retorted.
"But they did. And it's your damn fault. If I heard that Hyuna is in danger-" he stopped.
What will I do?
"You'll hate me? Your ex-girlfriend?" She emphasized the word ex.
"We're done. You said it, right?" He muttered avoiding her gaze.
"Move on, Hyunseung. I wasn't even the girl you were supposed to like at the first place." She sighed walking out the door.
-
"Crap, I'm late! I'm late!" Hyuna cried running inside the school hallway.
The door slammed.
"Mrs. Yeongja, I beg for your forgiveness- for I am late today." She bowed her head.
Everybody was dumbfounded, even Mrs. Yeongja.
The teacher beamed a smile, "You may sit down."
She nodded while panting heavily, sitting on her chair.
"You should've asked me to pick you up." Hyunseung muttered.
"No thanks." She avoided the conversation.
"So, since tomorrow is the fieldtrip. Everybody gather into your groups!" The teacher yelled.
"Mrs. Yeongja." Hyunseung yelled.
"Yes, Mr. Jang?"
"May I take Kim Hyuna outside the room for a while?"
Mrs. Yeongja's eyes started to narrow in confusion, but still- she nodded and said, "just hurry up."
Suddenly, Hyunseung grabbed Hyuna's hand and went outside.
"Ouch, hey! What the hell Hyunseung!" She growled in frustration.
"Hyuna." He pushed her gently in a hallway wall and trapped her beneath his arms.
"What?" Her breathe hitched due to the closeness of their faces.
"Are we, done?" He asked.
"Yes, the dare is done." She sighed
"Truth or Dare?"
"Stop it." She hissed.
"Let's continue the dare." He whispered.
She shivered, "No. I'm done."
"Hyuna-"
"This won't go anywhere. Hyunseung, you should chase Jihyun."
"This won't go anywhere either, Hyuna. We have 4 months and seven days to go. Please?" He asked.
"Why?"
"Let me end this dare, and protect you for 4 months, 7 days and 38 minutes. Ne?"
"It wasn't supposed to be like this. We shouldn't took up the dare."
"I didn't regret a single thing, Hyuna." Hyunseung sighed letting her go, turning around.
She sighed heavily, "Hyunseung..."
"What?" He asked turning back around.
"Dare."
Hyunseung's smile surprised Hyuna as he walked up to her and hug her.
"...Was it because you want to take Jihyun back?" She asked
Hyunseung laughed and kissed her forehead, "I want to protect you, that's all."
"As the second dare continues, shall I ask you again?" He smiled.
"Ask what?"
"Why are you so ugly?"
The involuntary smile on my face,
The eyes of mine that started to twinkle like a star.
Was it a sign, of myself falling for you?
