Secret affair (pt. 1)

"I don't have time for your shit right now Amelia" Shawn rolled his eyes as he rubbed his forehead tiredly.

"You have to remember that we have to get married in a week so you have to spend time with me." Amelia shot back.

"Maybe if you would stop being such a bitch then I would." Shawn retorted again.

Amelia huffed and left the office with a slam of the door.

"Is she gone?" A quiet voice came from the closet.

"Yes you can come out baby." Shawn said, grinning happily.

Camila stepped out of the closet and buried her face into Shawn's chest.

"She's so annoying." Camila groaned.

Shawn nodded in agreement and they stayed there for a while.

Cupping her cheeks, Shawn kissed Camila sweetly and Camila reciprocated eagerly.

"Shawn." Camila whimpered

"Mhm?" Shawn mumbled against her lips.

"The door...you didn't lock it..." she replied.

"Oh shit." Shawn said, jumping up and locking the door.

"When can we stop hiding." Camila sighed sadly.

"If my parents will stop wanting me to marry Amelia."

"I wish we could be together...forever..." Camila sighed again

"I wish so too." Shawn said softly. "But my parents like Stacey..."

"Maybe we should run away...escape this world..."

"We could move to Texas and get a country accent."

Camila laughed but played along, "We could call ourselves Betty and Johnny."

"And we could live in a barn house." Shawn smiled.

"I've always wanted to go travelling." Camila mused.

"Where do you want to go?" Shawn asked.

"Mm...Italy maybe...or a nice place in France near the sea..." Camila answered while absentmindedly playing with Shawn's fingers.

"Anywhere you want baby, I just want to get away." Shawn said, gazing at her.

They had been having a secret relationship for over half a year and had impossibly been able to keep it away from their families.

Shawn had met Camila through a mutual friend in college and sparked a friendship which took a turn 7 months ago.

Which started after Shawn's parents arranged for him to marry Amelia, a girl from a rich family who had met their family briefly before.

As for Camila, her family barely knew Shawn's and despised each other.

Shawn's parents thought Camila was a distraction to Shawn, and was only using him for money.

And Camila's parents thought Shawn was a nasty spoilt brat who just wants Camila for sex.

Of course, none of their theories were true and Shawn and Camila were like a real life Romeo and Juliet, forbidden to be together.
