"Tonpa huh? Pleasure to meet you, I'm sure." You said in a kind tone yet refused to shake his hand. Like seriously he looked like a suspicious guy and plus you reaaaaaaaaaaally just didn't want to shake his hand. Tonpa seemed to realize this as he lowered his hand down. Thank god.

"So, is there anything I can help you with?" Tonpa asked.

"Help me?" You asked sarcastically. Like you would ever need the help of such a suspicious guy ha! "How so?"

~:Tonpa's P.O.V.:~

I gave a laugh before smiling. "Well, like I told you before I have been to the hunter exam many times so I can help by answering questions and giving you some tips!" I chimed trying to act as friendly as possible. The mysterious cloaked person simply replied "hn." which was then followed by awkward silence.  I guess they must not be much of a talker... Still, I got to try to 'befriend' them. "So. Have any questions on any other the other opponents?" I asked, this will surely hel-

"Not really..." the mysterious person replied in a cool, calm tone. Wait... are they serious!? Like, what kind of person WOULDN'T want to know information on their opponents? I take it back maybe they aren't quiet, maybe they are just dumb. "O-oh... uh..." Dang it I have to think of something... I got it! "Well, how about any questions about the hunter exam itself. I could tell you about past events and give you tips to maybe help you with this year!" I said with a smile. Ha, that will get them. No one can resist such valuable information.

However I watched in shock as the person waived their hand dismissively. "Not interested." They replied simply.

What the heck is wrong with this new person!? No, correction, what is wrong with the new people this year!? There was that one ninja freak, the really annoying guy who knew who I was, then there was that white haired kid... "Oh- uh- er- Then how about a drink to... celebrate you're making it to the... uh... exam site?" Wow... that was just about the most pathetic excuse I ever made. I held out a can of soda to the person and they surprisingly took it!

"Only if you try one of my cupcakes!" They said, holding out a tray with three cupcakes on them. Are you serious... is that all I had to do? Offer them a drink and they would have taken it? And they even offered me a cupcake. "Oh yeah of course!" I said with a kind smile barely containing my smirk as I took a cupcake and just smiled at them still they eventually drank it. Well actually more like chugged it in one go before tossing it over their head.

"Thank you Tonpa, that was really refreshing~!" they said with a content sigh. I said it was no problem and said my goodbyes as I left. They wouldn't be thanking me for long! They were kinda weird and creepy, but since they chugged my laxative drink I won't even have to worry since they won't be taking part in the exam thank goodness. But WOW does this cupcake look good! Just as I raised the cupcake to my mouth to take a bite I overheard some people talking.

The random nameless peoples conversation:

"Hey did you hear that some people already died?"

"What really!? But the exam didn't even start yet!!!"

"I know."

"Crap the hunter exam is a scary place."
