After dinner
Roman's pov:
Patton made hot dogs with mac n' cheese for dinner, which is apparently Virgil's favorite food. Virgil went upstairs really quickly after dinner so I'm going to check on him. I knock on the door about 10 times and he doesn't answer, so I let myself in. I found him crying on his bed once I walk in.
"Virgil! Are you ok?" I said extremely worried that he was hurt or something. "I'm fine Roman. Just leave me alone." Roman? He never calls me Roman something is definitely wrong. (Not like he is literally crying in front of you. But, eh whatever.) "Virgil, you know you can tell me anything. I won't make fun of you for it." I said, while I sat next to him. He started crying even more so I hugged him really tight, while whispering sweet nothings in his ear. (Are those the right words? Sorry if there not.)
"You promise you won't make fun of me, or tell anyone." He said to me, still crying. I replied with "of course." "Okay... so I have been having nightmares about you all dieing and me being alone. Which I know is stupid but you all mean the world to me, so even the thought of it makes me want to cry." That was deeper than I thought it was, but its fine cause at least he told me. I must have been thinking for to long I heard him say "I know, I know, I know, its stupid please don't make fun of me."
What has happened to him oh dear lord. "Virgil, I would never make fun of you for that. To be honest, I have thought about that before to. And, if I died before you I will fight Satan himself to get back!" (I am not writing "god" so Satan it is) He giggled at what I said. Oh dear lord, his giggle is the cutest thing I've ever heard. "Thank you princey. But, it's not." Crap I must've said that out loud. "It is! And I didn't mean to say that." I said sheepishly.
1 hour later:(they were talking)
"Hey Virgil, its time to go to bed." I said when I noticed it was 9:30 pm. He looked quite panicked when I said that so I added, "Do you want me to sleep with you?" He said "yeah, it might help with the nightmares." Oh thank lord, he said yes! Dont get to exited Roman he only said yes to help with the nightmares. (😔) "Do you want to cuddle all night, or do you want me to just sleep close?" He said we can cuddle all night!
