Tzuyu feels that he has to make his stand clear. “I do not date woman whose IQ is below 140.”

Sana waves at him distractedly. “I get it. I get it. You might as well say you don’t date woman. I absolutely understand. You don't have to worried about it.”

He frowns. “I have said before I am not –“

“You are not gay. You are straight. 100% man. Fighter jet among guns, correct?"

Ayee, why is he so shy now. When he came out to me, he was so brave. But it so okay. Haha
I totally understand. If you don't want to admit it directly, your big sister will play along with you.

Tzuyu is still unsure: “You really understand?”

“Yes!”

Of course. She really really understands. Denying too much is a way of confession too, right?
So, she really understands about how he feels.

He heaves a sigh of relief. He is good as long as she understands.

They set the table for dinner and his phone rings. Looking at his phone, Elkie has sent him a picture of a bowl of noodles with tomato slices. The yellow noodles contrast well with the red garnish and look delicious.

Tzuyu does not reply to the message and starts eating.

His phone rings again.

Elkiie: This is not as good as yours.

Tzuyu hesitates before replying: Happy Birthday.

Elkiie:Thank you! I thought you have forgotten!

Tzuyu: That’s all. I am eating dinner.

He puts down the phone but it rings again.

Elkie:I miss you.

Tzuyu: You can choose not to. I am eating dinner.

Elkie:I want to see you.

Tzuyu thinks about it and he texts her again.

Tzuyu: Does your boyfriend know that you are saying this?

Elkie:We have broken up.

Tzuyu: Ok. I am eating dinner.

Elkie:Tzuyu!

Tzuyu is at a loss on how to end the conversation. Sana has noticed his yoyo-ing between his chopsticks and phone and when he looks annoyed, so, she asks him what is wrong. From their interactions, Tzuyu has already concluded that Sana may be dumb in many ways, but she is very good at handling people, so he passes his phone to her.

“Can you help me end this conversation?”

Respecting his privacy, Sana reads his latest conversation starting from the noodle picture and not anything earlier before that. When she realizes that Tzuyu has also cooked for this person, she is not happy. The feeling is like discovering what you think as your precious is also someone else’s precious.

“Who is she to you?”

“Just a friend.”

“I don’t believe you. You cooked noodles for her. You even remember today is her birthday. She must be really special to you!”

“It is just a bowl of noodles.”

"Just one? Really? This person seems to have set her sights on you.”

Tzuyu shakes her head empathetically. “Not possible.”

“Why?”

He does not answer and Tzuyu sends another message: Why are you ignoring me?
