Tzuyu is asked to stay for dinner and when he is ready to leaves, she sees him off and uses the opportunity to tell him about her parents’ decision. Knowing that she is still sad, he pulls her into his arms and consoles her.

Two days later, Tzuyu pays Sana’s parents an official visit, this time carry gifts which he has envisioned the first time. As Madam Minatozaki is still recuperating and neither is Sana or Papa Minatozaki great cooks, father and daughter has planned to order some takeway, make a simple dish or two, and make it a meal. Still, when Tzuyu peeks inside the kitchen…. he ends up cooking their lunch.

To be frank, Papa Minatozaki is not impressed with Tzuyu at first sight. This young man is too scrawny, too fair, too…. girly. But judging from his culinary skills…. well, just maybe, a man can also try the domesticated route in order to find a wife?

After lunch, Papa Minatozaki and Mama Minatozaki urges Sana to bring Tzuyu around Osaka city. For the next few days, Sana would find herself commanded by her parents to take him to this place and that.

Tzuyu is a very well-read tourist. Sometimes, he can even tell Sana little-known facts about a place which she does not even know as a native. When he sees her face lighting up after learning a fun fact, he would stick his face close and request for a reward, which she will oblige him by planting a kiss on his cheek.

Such is an example of how knowledge can bring about a better life for himself.

One day, Sana decides to send Tzuyu back to his hotel after a day trip. As Tzuyu has been secretly praying fervently for something to happen, his heart starts racing when she follows him all they way to his room. Is she planning to do anything to him? Finally! Is she going to strip his clothes for real!?

Distracted, he follows her until she turns around to smile at him. He stares at her, face getting redder and redder, until she points to the door. “Why are you not opening the door?”

“Huh? Oh.” He taps his room card and as the door opens, it hits a small lump under the door mat.

“Oh,” exclaims Sana. “What is this?”

Tzuyu bends to unfurl the mat, and discovers a box nicely wrapped with black paper and gold ribbon. Although the bow is a little flat after being squashed by the mat, the package still looks very pretty. When he stares at her dumbly, she bats her lashes at him playfully.

“Why don’t you open it?”

Inside the box is a black LV wallet and when Tzuyu flips it open, he sees a picture of Sana and himself smiling beatifically at the camera. When he stares woodenly at her, she has to encourage him. “Go on, see what else is there.”

So Tzuyu opens the wallet and discovers that the wallet is full of paper “hearts” folded from dollar notes. He grins and grins until she finally feels embarrassed by his prolong stare.

“I do not know where to hide it, so I sought help from the hotel concierge who hid it beneath the door mat. Do you like your present?”

“En.” That is his monosyllable answer.

The corner of her lips curls. “My beloved Yoda Tzu Tzu, happy birthday!”

“Thank you.” Besides this, he does not seem to have much reaction although his eyes seem to be shining even brighter than before. Sana grabs his wrist to check the time.

“Look, it is dinner time. Shall we go for dinner? Do you want cake or do you want to eat longevity noodles?”

He did not answer her. Holding her hand, he pulls her until she falls into his arms and starts to kiss her. He is a little frantic and it is a long, searching kiss. With his arms anchoring her waist, Sana can only remain where she is until her heartbeat becomes erratic and her lips feel a little sore. When she pushes him away, he only move his face back a couple of inches without loosening his hold on her as he hears her breathless answer.
