I woke uo the next morning to find that Grace was back in the Kitchen.Lucas was ourside plowing the fields still,and my dad was hovering over me."What is your lazy excuse for being in this bed kid!?"I didn't respond fast enough though because he picked me up and threw me down the stairs saying "Go back to work you peice of trash."Grace came running towards me.She helped me up.Than I heard their dad go into the room that Erica was in.I heard her scream.Than instead of taking her to the bed room they came and picked up Grace to.They took the girls down into the basement.We are forbidden to go into the basement.I tried to stop them but my dad turned around.All I remember is seeing a fist before I hit the floor.
"Lucas you are going to have a little sister soon."It was my mom was she still alive?Has this been a horrible nightmare this entire time?My mom came and hugged me saying "Lucas,take care of your sister I will always be with you.No matter what I will see you again one day.Than a figure in the shadows came it was John.What are you doing Sammantha get away from that thing.It's you fault w are having another one of those failiures.The word failiure echoed in my mind.
