Tsukkiyama Oneshots

Sorry, Tsukki! (AU)

Go to minute 1:57-2:01 in the vid above and it will show a cannon Tsukkiyama moment!(or a cute moment)

This is in the middle or maybe late beginning of practice after school, but Yamaguchi hasn't shown up at all, making Tsukkishima extra worried. WARNING: Suicide triggers!!!

Third Person POV

Warm-ups had finally ended, and Tsukkishima was waiting for Yamaguchi to show up, by checking his phone so much he thought he was paranoid, but no one else seem to notice him do so. When he finally got a message, it was from Yams.

Dear Tsukki,

I just wanna say that the best years of my life started when you came in it. I know that sounds unlikely because you came in my life after childhood, but its true nonetheless. My life was just getting up, go to school, not getting what the teacher said, getting bullied, and then going home. My mom is the nicest and always loved you and me more than she did herself. You were the reason I kept going, you were the reason I didn't give up on my happiness. Everything you did made me feel special, and you may feel as if though you are good at hiding things. But, I hate to break it to you but your not. I saw through every little thing. I saw that when you completely didn't mean something you said, you look over to the side and make it look sly, I learned that you have a soft spot for kids and when no ones around always play with them b/c you don't want anyone else to go through what you did, and i learned that whenever talking to me, you always seemed to avoid talking bad about me, and always looked me in the eye, except when you were seemingly angry at me. Now, you might be wondering, why did you write all this when you can just tell me in person. Well, before I tell you why, I just wanna remind you that what I'm about to say is not your fault, if anything, you're the reason I have held on. I know everything about you, and I have always taken pride in that! Now, don't get mad when I tell you that by the time you get this message, I will already be gone. I was never good at literature as you know, b/c you always had to help me with it, so I don't really know how to end this but... yeah!

At this point Tsukkishima had had a layer of tears gloss around his eyes, threatening to spill, but he didn't believe it. He couldn't believe it. He was almost forcing himself to pretend it didn't happen. He was saying to himself that if he goes to his house, he will just find his Yams there.

He immediately starting running out of the gym. Yams and him lived close enough to walk home. All the teammates were startled and Sugawara called out right before he exited asking where he was going. He just threw the phone to Suga, who caught it, and kept on running.

Suga had caught the phone saw what was on the screen, which took a minute to read, and immediately started crying, not hard, as he was in denial. He immediately showed the phone to Takeda-sensei and Coach Ukai.

Tsukkishima was running as fast as he could and he didn't care about anything else. Yams' mom was at work from early in the morning to right after his school ended, b/c she had to have a lot of jobs to provide for them, but wanted to be with her son as much as she could. Knowing that she wouldn't be around during school times, and occasionally after, but almost never, she gave Tsukki a key since she had known him since childhood and trusted him. He hurriedly got the key in with his hands shaking, because by know a few tears were on his cheeks, but he kept telling himself that he refused to cry, because his Yams was okay. He punched down on every door until he found Yams. 

He found him in the extra playroom that they had in the house.That room was the place that their sleepovers used to be when they were little. It was on the second floor, and he was hanging on the ceiling. He connected his rope to the ceiling fan, and there was a chair kicked down sideways on the floor.

Tsukki lost it. He starting bawling and went up to his friend hoping maybe he was still alive but there was something wrong. It made no sense, his thoughts, but he was in denial of everything, he was looking at Yams and holding his cheeks with both his hands and crying while staring into his now lifeless body. (please don't tell me how weird it is to hold a dead body, he is mourning, so its not weird he just wants to hold him)

Back at the gym, Suga told Coach Ukai and Takeda-sensei, along with Kiyoko, not to come with and that he will go and call 911 and make sure they are alive and well. They agreed only b/c everyone else didn't know what had happened, and they didn't want to tell them until it was definite death, or an attempt. After figuring that out, they'll tell them. They didn't want everyone to worry if, for any reason, it wasn't true, but in all honesty, they were trying to convince themselves that this was a cruel joke. The letter was also rather personal, so it was Tsukkishima's choice if he wanted to share it with everyone. Suga knew he threw it at him for a reason.

Takeda-sensei had a face of shock, so he sat with Kiyoko for a while, which Coach tried his best not to seem any different, though his face had remorse written all over it, and made them keep playing. Everyone else had different thoughts though.

"Where are they going?"

"Why were they crying?!?"

"Is Takeda-sensei okay?"teammates were wondering aloud.

"It is Tsukkishima's decision on who he tells, he trusted Suga, and Suga trusted us with this info. So, you will not be getting any info until Suga calls us back with info." Coach Ukai stated.

"Start a 3 on 3 game with you three over here and you three over there!" he said, trying to stop the worrying.

When Suga reached Yamaguchi's house he went to a room where he heard crying, hoping with all his heart they were happy tears, but knew that was not the case. He rushed over to the room to see Tsukki crying over Yams' hanging body, hands on his cheeks, their foreheads touching. He saw that Tsukki was bawling with the most horrific screams of agony coming from the his coarse throat.

All Tsukki want to do was hold Yams close, kiss him, cuddle him, all he wanted was his yams and he was gone. Suga was calling the police, and tried to console Tsukki, but he wouldn't let go of his Yams until the ambulance go there. When the ambulance came, Suga immediately held Tsukki while he cried into his shoulder. They wouldn't let anyone on the Ambulance unless family since the death had already occurred.

The body would be under the care of the hospital for 24 hours and with police, so Suga let Tsukki sleep on his shoulder while he called Takeda-sensei. When Takeda got the news, he had tears rolling down his face, he looked at Ukai to show the mutual understanding that he was gone.

"GUYS!" Coach Ukai yelled and gestured for everyone to huddle in front of the whiteboard area.

When everyone had heard the news, they were all crying, all in shock. But some were crying more than others. The ones in shock more than in sadness didn't even notice the tears rolling down. The ones that couldn't handle it were on the floor with tears falling everywhere. They decided to run to Yams' house since they had been there for studying once. By the time they got there, the tears in their eyes had stopped flowing just because of the pure concern they had for what it looked like at his house.

When they had came, the ambulance and police were long gone, but the doors were still open, so they searched around. Kageyama and Hinata were the ones who found Suga and Tsukki. Tsukki was asleep on Suga's lap with his head on his shoulder. Suga had tears still left on his face, not daring to move, b/c Tsukki had finally stopped crying, and he was not ruining the temporary peace that Tsukki had finally found.
