The Day That Wasn't

Wednesday. 8:15 am

Everyone minus Five and Vanya, were in the living room by the bar while Lorna asked. "Three days?"

Allison hands Luther a coffee as he nods. "That's what Five said."

Klaus adds. "The old bastard did mention the apocalypse, come to think of it. He just left out the part about how soon.

Alison walks over to Diego and Lorna and gives them their coffees. "But can we trust him?" I don't know if you've noticed, but Five is a little..."

She whistles implying they're crazy as Klaus chuckles. "Our little psycho."

Luther nods as he says. "He was pretty convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse happening, those two lunatics wouldn't be chasing after him."

Diego asks. "That's why they were after him?"

Luther answers. "Yeah."

Allison asks. "What did Five even see?"

Luther struggles to answer. "Uh... Apparently, we all fought together against whoever was responsible."

It goes silent, but he breaks it as he clicks his tongue. "Okay. So, here's the plan. Uh, we go through dad's research..."

Lorna cuts him off. "Wait, what?"

Allison waves her hand. "Hold on. Hold on. Hold on."

Klaus does the same. "Wait a tick, wait a tick, wait a tick. What actually happened the first time around?"

Lorna nods. "Yeah, what are you not telling us? Luther, what happens to us?"

Diego nods. "Come on, big boy, spit it out."

It's silent as they all look to Luther and wait for an answer. He just looks down at his coffee and sighed. "We died."

Luther takes a sip of his coffee as Allison asks. "What was that?"

Luther coughs. "I said, uh, we died."

Everyone is silent as they process this new information. Lorna, now really scared, accidentally looses control of her powers causing an umbrella to drop and open up next to Klaus, scaring him.

The Umbrella Academy siblings started arguing as everyone yells.

Diego was currently the one yelling as he as getting mad at Luther. "Just now, you're telling us... No we need to figure this out."

Allison asks. "Was it just us?"

Luther answers. "It was everybody."

Lorna questions further. "In the house or the whole planet?"

Luther shakes his head. "It was outside the house. Everyone died."

They were all interrupted by someone saying. "Hey."

They all turn towards the living room doors to see Vanya and a random guy standing there. "What's going on?"

The rest all stand there quiet as Allison answers. "It's a family matter."

Vanya nods. "A family matter. So of course you couldn't bother to include me."

Lorna shakes her head. "No, Vanya, it's not like that. We were just..."

Vanya cuts her off. "Don't let me interrupt."

Vanya goes to walk away, but stops as Lorna and Allison walk towards her, Lorna calling out to her. "Vanya wait. We'll fill you in later when we're alone."
