4: Unraveling Secret

"Good work, everyone! Your quirks are really amazing." Yaoyorozu Momo says as she smiles sweetly and gracefully when you head inside the girl's dressing room together with the others after the test that Aizawa sensei gave. 

Uraraka Ochaco undresses her PE uniform beside you since your locker is next to hers, "I really didn't do much, but you did great too, Yaoyorozu-san."

"What do you mean you didn't do much, girl?! You basically made that ball float for its entire life." Ashido responds to Uraraka with an amazed expression as she's done dressing back to her uniform. She's fast. 

Uraraka laughs shyly, his back facing the others, "Right..." 

It's true that she basically made that ball float for its entire life which surpassed yours and Bakugo's score. "You basically had an infinite score making you the first place in that test, next to Bakugo and Shimura." You were about to close your locker when you hear Jiro Kyoka saying your name. You thought why you're in their conversation all of a sudden. 

Ashido lays her arm around your shoulders, "Shimura-san, your quirk is so cool!" 

You turn your head to where she is and see the others looking at you with smiles on their face. Uraraka nods and Yaoyorozu compliments you, "You're amazing, Shimura-san." There she goes again with her sweet and graceful smile. 

You suddenly get weirded out by this familiar feeling that you never felt for a long time. Is it the feeling of talking to others besides the people you already know or the feeling of being complimented sincerely? You can know immediately that their smiles and compliments are sincere. 

"Th-Thanks." You don't know what to say and you got all shy but then your pride kicked in before you knew it, "W-Well, it's not like I'll fail in a test like that." You smugly replied to them.

They chuckle as they have seen you blush faintly and someone sighed deeply beside you but you see no one standing near you except Ashido. You were about to act up when you realized it was just Hagakure Tooru with a quirk of invisibility, "I'm glad that no one got expelled today. Aizawa sensei almost gave me a heart attack." 

Asui Tsuyu croaks cutely, "Ribbit. That was also unexpected but Aizawa sensei had his reasons." The others agree since Aizawa announced an expulsion at the start of the test and later on told the class that he was just joking so the class would certainly give the best of their quirks which is also successful since you acknowledge their quirks as powerful. The quirk that made you all curious is the broccoli head's quirk, Midoriya Izuku. 

"Midoriya?" You went out of the changing room again since you left something in the locker and stumble upon Midoriya who came from the infirmary.

"Sh-Shimura-san." He mumbles acknowledging your presence and you walk closer to him to walk with him to the classroom. You can see the freckles on his face clearly and an obvious blush on his cheeks. 

Before you could take another step, he suddenly steps backward making another distance away from you which made you raise a brow, "What's with you? You look like you've seen a huge beast about to gobble you up."

"U-uh, I didn't mean it like that, Sh-Shimura-san. I-I just...what do I call this?" He shifts his weight from one foot to the other and starts mumbling various words you can't clearly hear. You show him a confused look and sigh. 

You poke him and he jolted like a scared mouse. You're expecting that kind of reaction from him but you still tried to hold back your laugh and give him a small smile, "Good, now you've stopped mumbling. Let's go."
