Jaden's P.O.V.
"Wha-at?" was all I could say. "Uh-umm who di-died?" I stutter.
"Sarah Nickerson. She was murdered last night at my party." she said while talking.
"Sarah? Hmmm. Her name sounds familiar. I think I met her. What does she look like?" I asked Nina while rubbing her back.
"She is very skinny. Usually wears leggings and t-shirts. She's a friend if Julia and a best friend of Eira. Eira is crying like hell right now." Nina said
"Oh Sarah. I remember her. I just met her yesterday with Julia. How sad." I said
"Yeah, it is. Her dead body was found in my bedroom!" Nina squeked and cried again.
"Sorry. Its okay." I told Nina so that she would stop crying.
Sarah and I were just acquaintances but I really feel bad. I feel bad for Nina, Julia, especially Eira who is her best friend and all her friends. She died at a very young age. What is actually the real story how she died? Was she murdered? By who?
I continued walking through the hallways with policemen interviewing the teachers. I went to my locker and got my Math Books.
I finally arrived at the classroom where I saw Arianne. She was just so natural like nothing has happened. She was just laughing with some girls.
I went to my seat, which was beside Arianne who continued laughing who didn't even notice me sit.
"Arianne?" I said but she didn't hear it.
"Arianne?!" I grew impatient.
"What?.. Chill man!" She said loudly.
"Did you hear the news about Sarah Nickerson?" I asked
"Oh that slut? Ooopps.. Sorry.. Yes that "VERY" kind girl that died. Yes I did" Arianne said emphasising the word "very".
"What's with her? Why'd you call her a slut?" I asked curiously.
"Oh come on Jaden. That girl tried to steal Dirk from me. Like she does... Uh.. Uh.. Nothing." Arianne said.
"Does what?" I asked.
"Nothing. You don't need to know." Arianne said, suddenly placed her head down.
Arianne is acting weird. Its like she never knew me. She wasn't that kind girl I knew in the first day of school. Suddenly, our math teacher, Mr.Dawson spoke.
"Class, our beloved Sarah Nickerson died last night. Her funeral will be this Saturday. She was murdered by someone. Class, please go to her funeral and support her family. Thank you!" Mr. Dawson said
As Mr. Dawson finished his speech. I directly looked at Arianne. I could feel the guilt in her. It was like she was the one who murdered Sarah. I need to ask Nina if she was in the party.
The bell finally rang. It was the most boring 45 minutes of my life. Arianne never talked to me and Mr. Dawson kept on talking about maths which I hate.
I ran to my locker and suddenly I heard voices nearby me. It was Dirk and Dirk's mates which consist of James, Philip, Anthony and Rosh. According to the rumours I heard, they were the hottest freshmen guys. They were actually whispering until I heard the word Sarah.
"Shush James. They might hear us." One boy said.
"Dirk I can't do this. You let me kill Sarah. You just ruined my freaking life. I finally had a perfect relationship with Krystelle Summers and I don't want to break that." James complained.
"Whatever James. Go deal with yourself" One boy said.
They finally finished their conversation. I found out that Arianne was the one who told Dirk to kill Sarah. She had this issues that I didn't know. It wasn't about Sarah trying to steal Dirk away from her. It was about an unexplained secret.
I finally moved and walked to the hallways where I bumped into Nina.
"Nina, was Arianne invited at your party?" I asked
"Yes, of course. Why?" She asked
"Nothing. Just curiosity." I said and giggled a bit and trying not to be obvious.
The death of Sarah Nickerson was all planned by Arianne. I thought she was a good person. But then she's not.
