It was a cold rainy day. It was the first day of high school. I was lying on my bed then suddenly a voice boomed inside my room. It was clearly my mum.
"Jaden!!!! Breakfast is ready!" My mum said loudly.
"Yes mum." I said making my voice loud enough for her to hear.
I got out of bed. Took a shower and changed my clothes. I decided to wear a t-shirt and black skinny jeans. I got my bag and went downstairs.
"Morning mum!"
"Morning. Pancakes?" She says handing the pancakes.
"Thanks. I better get going" I said as I hurriedly ate my breakfast
I few minutes later I went out of my house, said goodbye to my parents. I met a pretty girl going out from her shelter. She looked like an angel. Eventhough her eyes looked large, it still fit her well.
Wow, I never thought I'll be wet in the rain on the first day of school. So wow, really wow. Time passed as I continued staring at her. I noticed she came closer to me.
"Hi" she said which I apparently didn't hear
"What?" I said in a confused look.
"Uh. I said hi and my name is Julia and I noticed you are all wet so mind if you join me?" She said sweetly.
"Do you mind? Where are you studying anyway?"
"Sydney National High School" she said.
"Oh I guess I can come. Thanks" I said nervously
We walked, talked and ended up laughing so hard which people gave us awkward looks. I never met a girl who is so kind and beautiful. Its like she got the whole package. She's actually German and Australian. Anyway, we reached school.
Before I forget, I'm currently new in Sydney, Australia. Im actually from the Philippines. Born in the Philippines but my mom is an Aussie. My parents moved here because of work.
Julia and I went inside the campus. Suddenly a lot of girls we're approached her. I guess she was popular.
"Hi Jul" one girl said with black hair.
"Hi Arianne" she said waving her hand awkwardly.
"Hey Julia! Did u forget about us?" Two more girls approached her.
"Hi Nina and Regine! Ofcourse I did not forget about you two." She said in a "duh" tone.
"Who is this guy you're with?" Regine asked.
"Oh. I forgot. This is Jaden, Arianne, Nina and Regine. Jaden, this is Arianne, Nina and Regine my bestfriends." She said
"Hi" I said awkwardly
"Hello" They said in unison.
That was nice. Arianne actually looked so pretty. She has black, straight hair and she wears a violet headband, shirt and her bag is also violet. I bet her favourite colour is violet. I think I have a sudden crush on her.
Soon the bell rang. I went to my class where Arianne and I are classmates.
We sat together and I was having butterflies in my stomach. Arianne was so kind. She helps me every time my things fall especially my pencil. She was also trusted by her teacher. She gets good scores. She was everything. The crush thing is burning inside me.
The first period ended and i found out boys were approaching Arianne. One boy suddenly spoke.
"Who is he? Are we over?" The boy said.
"Of course not. He is Julia's friend. Don't be silly Dirk" Arianne said
"Okay. You! What is his name?" He said.
Hahaha. Sucker!
"Jaden" i said
"You, jaden stay away from my girl." He said and walked away with his peer and Arianne.
"Okay" my heart nearly broke.
"This is war Dirk" I said to myself.
