Chapter 9: Edward

"I am going to go for a walk." Bella said getting off my lap. I sighed. "Don't be long." I told her.

"Meet you back at the house!" She yelled waving at me. I watched her leave in till I couldn't see her anymore. I wonder how this one woman can drive me crazy. My housekeeper, Roger, dropped of my Volvo. A old man in his mid sixties. He is a very close family friend. He has been with me most of my life. I got in my Volvo realizing what time it was.

I started to go over the speed limit. I was almost there. I was coming at a intersection when my wheels slipped on ice making me go forward. I yelped and spun my steering wheel. Then a truck hit my car, on the left side. I love you Bella Swan, Forever.

"Shut that bloody thing off!" I groaned. I opened my eyes. My parents were in the room. I was in the hospital. I suddenly remembered what happened. Speeding, ice, hit.

"Oh honey." Esme, my mother, said and kissed my forehead. "You are okay. The truck hit the left side of your Volvo so you didn't get any severe injuries. You will be able to leave tomorrow." Carlisle said and smiled sadly. There was a bandage around my leg and chest.

"Bella." I gasped. "Mom can you give me my phone." I asked her. She checked my jean pocket I was wearing during the crash. I was changed in a hospital gown.

She handed me my phone and I called Bella. After the first ring it went straight to voicemail. I called again and it did the same thing. I texted her phone and it didn't send. I called Roger.

"Edward?" He asked worriedly. "What is wrong, how are you doing." He knows me so well.

"Bella. Is Bella there?" I said panicking. The beeping quickened. "No Edward, I thought she was with you?"

"She isn't answering her phone. It isn't going through." I sobbed. Carlisle put a needle in my arm and took the phone from me. I suddenly felt tired and went to sleep.
