Chapter 7

Reid drives to the building but he was being really quiet.

"Spencer what's wrong?"

"No-nothings wrong"

"you're stuttering."

"n-not I'm not."

"bullshit. Stop the car."

"N-No! I'm not gonna pull the car over! We have to get to work"

"then tell me what's wrong!"

"I just didn't know that you.. You could act like that"

I giggled "it's Um... Because I think you're cute..."
He didn't say anything

"Um sorry I-"

"no no its just ive never been called cute by a beautiful girl before..."

We both blushed and the rest of the car ride is quiet just the sound of the cars engine.

~~arriving at the BAU~~
Reid holds the door open for me and we both walk in and Morgan stares at us with a weird look

"Why are you guys all re-wait did you guys... Ya know?"

"Morgan! No we didnt! We were laughing in the car!" such a lie Reid wow.

"I called him cute and he called me beautiful that's it"

"Aweee pretty boy is growing up!"

"Shut up Morgan." he was now even redder than before, in the car.

I started laughing and decided I should go to my desk and put everything down.

"Rodriguez please come to my office."

I looked at Morgan and Reid. They both had confused looks on their face. I gave one back as I walk towards Hotch's office.

"Whatcha need Hotch?"

"Nothing really Lyndze, just to tell you about the case."

"Okay sir"

"Well, we caught him and he's now on trial, the teenagers that were hostages all went free with no injuries except for one boy just beaten up a little but will heal in time and I was also wondering if you were okay."

"that's great sir! And I'm alright thanks for wondering Hotch."

"it's no problem, I need to worry about my agents so they're okay to go back to work."

I smiled knowing that's not the only reason. "thank you sir I am 100% fine to go back to work."

"that's good Rodriguez"

"is that all you need sir?"

He slightly smiled and nodded so I walked out of the room.

Reid had his back facing me so I snuck up behind him and "tasered" him and he made a high pitched sound that I'm sure only dogs could hear.

He turned around and looked at me with a weird look on his face.

"what?" I asked innocently.

He groans and rubbed his side
"that hurt"

"want me to kiss it better?" he awkwardly coughed and shook his head no

"no um I'm good.. "

Morgan was looking at us and smirking.

"you guys are cute together"

"we aren't together!" we both said at the same time.

"Mhm sure." he said as he turned and walked away.

Do I wish we were together?

Maybe I do... No he's just a friend of mine.

But you want him to be more than a friend.

I'll ask him over to hang out and watch movies with me, and we can get to know each other.

Yeah that's what I'll do.
