Until Next Time

Lucifer and Damon spent the next few hours talking and catching up and what has happened over the years and where and when this wedding will be. Just before sunset Lucifer told Damon something that he needed kept a secret until the time was right. 

"In a few months time, there will be a vampire in town older than you. His name is Elijah and if you give him this message he'll know that you are under my protection and will not harm you. Elijah is also under my protection as is his family except for a few." Lucifer tells Damon and whispers the message in his ear

"What does it mean?" Damon questions

"It means, 'The Devil calls you to rise' in Icelandic which is Elijah's native tongue." Lucifer explained

"Why will he becoming here?" Damon questioned

"Well lets just say that you'll find information and not all that information is real. When you meet Elijah tell him to meet with you in this exact spot and I will show up if I'm not busy. If I am I'll send a messenger." Lucifer explains and tells Damon why he can't always be with him now, " I have a life in Los Angeles, but if you ever need me you know how to contact me." 

Damon nodded and after one last passionate kiss Lucifer left back to Los Angeles.

5 Months Later

 Damon figured out what Lucifer meant that night as on the night of the Masquerade Ball the Lockwood's were throwing, Elena got kidnapped and Damon and Stephan found that she was kidnapped by a vampire named Rose for someone called Elijah. When Damon heard that name he remembered what Lucifer told him, that not all the information is the truth.

When Stephan and Damon arrived at the abandoned house on the outskirts of Mystic Falls, they immediately went to go save Elena. Well Stephan did anyway and Damon was thinking on how to approach Elijah without seeming suspicious. When Stephan was about to get staked by the older vampire, Damon decided to just whisper the words loud enough for Elijah to hear.

    Elijah stopped and looked at the assembled people in the room and took off. Damon looked at his brother and Elena and said to let them go as they had other things to do. When Stephan and Elena left Damon called Elijah back in. 

"Come on back Elijah, they're gone." Damon announced

Elijah came back quickly and glared at him

"How do you know that phrase?" Elijah questioned

Damon explained his story and how he met Lucifer and what he said to him.

"He also told me, to tell you, to follow me so that you know where to meet up." Damon explained and started to walk away with a bewildered Elijah following. Damon and Elijah showed up at the spot in the woods and Damon made a pentagram with his blood in order to have Lucifer show up and talk to Elijah. The blood started boiling and then smoke started to rise and then Damon and Elijah heard a suave British voice,

"Well so you showed up after all Elijah." Lucifer exclaimed after walking out of the smoke

"Lucifer! It is you." Elijah was shocked, he hadn't seen this man since the early 1500's when his siblings had been on the run and he had helped them out. 

"It's been awhile Elijah." Lucifer commented while gather Damon in his arms and pressing a kiss to his head

"I had Damon bring you here because I have a proposition for you." Lucifer announced

While Elijah was shocked since it seemed like Lucifer found someone to love instead of the usual one night stand. Elijah was also wondering about the proposition.

"What is the proposition?" Elijah questioned

"I know that you think that your brother Niklaus has thrown your siblings into the bottom of the ocean but that's not true. And before you say otherwise let me tell you something. Even though your brother has had his werewolf side bound, unfairly, may I add he still has those pack instincts ingrained into his subconscious and who is his pack?" Lucifer question/explained

"His family" breathed Elijah in realization 

"Exactly, so now my offer Elijah Mikaelson is, bring your brother to me and I'll break his curse and in return you, as your family patriarch have to sign a contract with me. The contract will entail that when I call you or any of your siblings, you show up and you guys can never die, not even by a white oak stake or by getting daggered. I'll also even fix this immortality curse as I'm the one who made the supernatural anyway." Lucifer bargained

"What do you mean 'fix the immortality curse?'" Elijah questioned

"What I mean is that when your mother used the spell, she tweaked it to fit her own gain. The immortality curse is only supposed to make you immortal. Not sterile, or barren or dead but not dead. No! Being immortal means your still alive, you can still procreate, you just can't die. What I'm offering is to make you an immortal with no side effects, no vampirism, no weakness only no way to die and a way to procreate. Of course should you accept your vampire sireline dies as well." Lucifer explains while whispering somethin into Damon's ear, Damon nodded and disapeared

"What are my other options?" Elijah, ever the negotiator asked

"You stay a vampire but I grant you one wish. Any wish you want, like the ability to procreate while having more protective and mating instincts or the wish to be able to shapeshift. Remember though, this deal not only effects you but your family as well. So Elijah Mikealson, what do you choose?" Lucifer questioned while he stopped pacing and instead stood right in front of Elijah who was clearly debating which deal was better.

"Can the wish be different for my family? Will you grant them a chance to change the wish or no?" Elijah questioned

"Only one wish for your family but I'll give you something special for all that you've done for family. Even though I was banished from my family, I still love them so I'll give you the ability to shapeshift for free. This is your only free gift. I respect you for taking care of your family for the last 1,000 years. Don't make me regret it." Lucifer told Elijah while mumbling latin under his breath. Elijah glowed a slight orange before the glow dulled. "Now what is your answer Elijah?"

"Have my siblings stay vampires but can you give Kol the ability to use magic again? And Rebecca and I the ability to procreate? I know that's something she's been wanting for awhile now but mother took away the chance to become parents when she changed us." Elijah bargained

"So you take the deal to remain vampires but your wish is to give Kol his magic back and for you and Rebecca, the ability to have children. I'll commend you, you managed 2 wishes with 1 wish due to how you worded the phrase. Alright deal. But what about your brothers Finn and Niklaus?" Lucifer questioned while getting his magic ready

"Finn has never liked what we are and Niklaus will already be able to procreate since he's part werewolf." Elijah stated

"Very good. You used that brain of yours and were able to piece together that after Klaus's curse is gone he can procreate. Very well. Do we have a deal?" Lucifer questioned 

"Deal" Elijah said

Lucifer grinned and finished his spell and all of a sudden Elijah collapsed on the ground as his insides felt that they were burning.

"Remember, Elijah Mikaelson, you made a deal with the Devil and soon I intend to collect my payment." Lucifer announced and disappeared

In Chicago, Niklaus Mikaelson fell to the ground in pain as for some reason he had something yelling in the back of his head screaming at him to release his family.
