Reunion

Damon couldn't believe what he was seeing. After 147 years he was finally back and he was saving him from a burning demise. Now he  didn't know if he was seeing things from the smoke inhalation which is unlikely as the only things that could really harm him is, vervain and a wooden stake. 

"Lucifer, is it really you?" Damon questioned

"It is. I told you a hundred years ago, that I be back for you." Lucifer responded

Damon smiled at Lucifer and then passed out. Lucifer looked down at his love that he hadn't seen in over a thousand years and smiled softly at him. Lucifer looked back up at the group who was starring at him in disbelief. 

"Who are you?!" the witch with a lot of power flowing through her veins asked while raising her hand

Lucifer felt a small prickle in his head but that was it.

"My name is Lucifer Morningstar, and would you stop trying to give me an aneurysm. It's really annoying."

Bonnie and Elena could only gape on disbelief that Bonnie's power did work on this man. Elena turned to Stephen to see if he could attack this guy for her only to see that he had tears in his eyes and was staring at Lucifer like he was a long lost family member.

'But they can't be related as Stephen's only family is Damon' Elena thought  only to see that Stephen had ran up to 'Lucifer' and was hugging him but was making sure he didn't disrupt Damon's rest.

"It's good to see you as well Stephen, but is there a place we can go so I can lay Damon down and we can talk?" Lucifer asked 

Stephen nodded and led Lucifer away from the burned building and toward the Salvatore Boarding House. Elena and Bonnie looked at each other and followed them while Elena also called Caroline.

At the Boarding House

After Lucifer laid Damon on the couch he went over to the bar and started helping himself.

"Well I know you have some questions, so start asking them." Lucifer commented

"How are you still alive after all these years and where have you been? All of a sudden you just up and left us. Damon was devastated." Stephen questioned

"Damon must not have told you. I had to go back to Hell as my brother, Amenadiel, had figured out that I left and decided it was his job to take me back. So that's where I've been for a thousand years." Lucifer answered

"A thousand? It's only been over a hundred." Stephen commented

"Time runs differently down in Hell." Lucifer explained

"Stephen, you can't seriously believe what he's saying!" Elena cried "He's crazy! Nothing that he says can be true. Heaven and Hell doesn't exist. Only the Other Side." Elena yelled 

"And who do you think created the supernatural and the Other Side?" Lucifer questioned

Elena didn't have an answer to that as she didn't know.

Before any more questions could be asked everyone heard a groan and turned to see Damon waking up and Lucifer heard paws coming down the stairs. 

"Ah, Lukas, here boy." Lucifer crouched down as the black lab ran to his master and laid down in submission "Good boy, now why haven't you been protecting Damon" Lucifer questioned

"It's not like that" Damon said standing up and walking over to Lucifer and standing behind him while pouring himself a drink "I have been telling him to stay here as I have mainly been using him as an information gatherer since he can blend into the shadows." Damon explained before  he whispered something into Lucifer's ear and waited until he nodded, and then sunk his fangs into Lucifer's shoulder.

Lucifer nodded as it made since for Damon to use Lukas's powers as a gathering source for information. 

"Well anymore questions, No. Alright then Damon and I will be on our way as I made a promise to my little vampire, and I intend to make that promise come true and if I'm anything, I'm a Devil of my word." Lucifer said while taking Damon outside and into the surrounding woods with Lukas following and leaving Stephen to deal with Elena, Bonnie and Caroline who just showed up after the Devil and older vampire left.

When Lucifer and Damon got to the forest Lucifer pulled a ring out of his pocket and said to Damon,

"Before I left over a hundred years ago I believe I made a promise to you and that promise was to marry you." Lucifer said "Now I want to know if you still love me after all these years because I still love you and after I arrived on Earth 5 years ago I started searching for you right away but I could never find you. So Damon Salvatore one hundred years later, Will you marry me?" Lucifer asked showing Damon a ring with snake eating the end of it's tail with two stones in it's eyes one lapis lazuli and the other was a ruby. 

Damon was in shock that he remembered his promise from a hundred years ago.

"I will," Damon said "On one condition"

"Oh and that is?" Lucifer asked curious

"On the marriage certificate you have to use your real name and no one will know of our marriage and I decide it's time." Damon concluded

Lucifer thought about it some, get married to the guy he loves but go by his real name which he hasn't used in millenia and have the marriage kept secret or go back on his deal.

"Fine, but Maze attends since she's my second in command." Lucifer agreed

"Deal" Damon said and kissed Lucifer on the lips to seal it
