Emerald Aspen Barnes

I could not contain myself my wife had just died. Looks like the doctors were wrong about the rapid growth of my baby girl it was the rapid growth of a tumor that killed my Jamie.
(Fast forward 4 months)
Little emmi (emerald) was 4 months old already. All of the avengers are a very good help with Emmi. I still have not talked to Bruce or Tony because they feel responsible for Jamie, but i know it was not their fault. Little Emmi was very verbal. And she was so tiny despite what her doctors said.
(Emmi is almost 14 now)
As Emmi grew up I trained her to defend herself against anyone. One day while I was cooking breakfast and I said,"There is about two weeks before Emerald Aspen turns 14".
Emmi turns and looks at me in disgust.
"Dad. How many times do i have to tell you that you need to call me emmi. Duh!!" She said
"Jeez, sorry dang them hormonal teenager years have hit her hard, am i right?". As I wisper into clint's ear.
"Dad you know I can hear you right?" She said.
"Well girl you better drop that attitide like its hot and have some more manners!!" I told her.
"I'm sorry dad just lately I feel so emotional and I cant help it. Im going to lay down my stomach hurts." Emmi explained.
Oh no!! I thought. I went to go ask Nat and Bruce if it could be possible that Emmi started her period.
"She's almost 14, so yea."Nat told me.
"No reason to freak out because you might embarrass her and she will be more mad at you, but you are her only parent so you do need to talk to her about it and get her stuff for it." Bruce explained.
I went to her room knocked on her door and she said I could come in and she was curled in a fetal position.
"Dad I dont understand this isnt like a stomach ache, I'm bleeding in a weird spot." Emmi said very scared.
"Well i know what is wrong, its not a stomach ache." I expained.
"Then what is it, and how do you know?" She asked.
"What you are experiencing is called a period. It will happen like once a month for about a week." I houghed out.
" why me, why dad.?" She asked sadly.
I just explained to her that this happens to all girls around her age and this is what makes her have babies. She was very concerned and she asked a lot of questions, which I was very shocked because we'll im her dad and normally a girls mom would tell her about this.
In the next hour I went and got her some products and she thanked me and her auntie Nat helped her. I felt so much better to talk to her about it and not feel awkward.
