(Ok so, idk where Iida stayed for the Training thing, idk if he stayed in a hotel or the Hero agency building type thing or whatever. So ima just assume hotel, please don't yell at me. Also, lol, the picture has nothing to do with this chapter😂)

After getting off the train, finding the place their staying and introductions, Iida, Y/n and Pro Hero, Manual are off on patrol.

It was Y/n's first time getting to wear their Hero costume and they loved it.

Iida was still yet to tell Y/n what they wanted to know, which made them feel upset. As Manual explained things about things, Y/n didn't listen, their attention was on Iida's features. They couldn't see his face very well, but they could tell he wasn't his usual self. Manual stayed in front of the two and Y/n drifted off, farther behind.

"Keep up Y/n, you won't be able to listen to me back there," Manual turns his head with a smile. Y/n rolled their eyes and moved back up next to Iida and mumbled something to themself.

"You say something Y/n?" Tenya then asked, snapping his head to the shorter teen.

"Huh? Oh no, you must be hearing things," Y/n spat sarcastically, giving him a pissed smile.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He began.

"Nothing," Y/n started to get pissed.

"Hey, you know you can trust me, I'm your friend-"

Those words made Y/n snap. "TRY USING YOUR OWN WORDS THEN!" They shouted, gaining attention from everyone on the street. Y/n clenched their teeth making a "Tch" sound then zapped into a nearby street light, heading back to the place they were staying at. Manual tried calling them back but failed and just continued on the patrol.

Tenya's PoV

It was now the morning of 3rd day of training and Iida had been in deep thought ever since the indecent, and the two haven't talked to each other at all. He thought it might be time to finally talk to Y/n, so he got up off his bed and headed out of his hotel room, toward the room next door, where Y/n stayed.

Iida knocked on the door, but no answer. "Y/n? Are you up?" He asked, knocking once again, still no answer. Sighing, he headed downstairs toward the food court.

(Heads up, I have no idea how hotels work.)

After breakfast, Iida decided to go see if Y/n had woken up yet, they were going on patrol again, at 9:00 am and it was 8:39 am already. He knocked on the door and once again no answer. He sighed and walked off, suggesting he'll just talk to them when they get to the office.

Iida walked out of the hotel and down the road to where they were meeting up, when he noticed something on the roof of a building, it looked like a person. Y/n? He thought. They seemed to have noticed him looking at them and vanished. I assume so. Iida furrows his eyes and continued walking.

"We need to talk," Y/n's voice murmured behind Iida, scaring the living daylight out of him and causing him to stumble forward. It took him a couple of seconds to regain his balance and turn his head towards Y/n, who's arms were crossed. They looked almost disappointed. "You should be more aware of your surroundings," They said, venom in their words.

"I apologise, " Iida began but was cut off straight away.

"So, are you going to tell me why you haven't been yourself lately? Are you going to finally tell me what you promised me?" Y/n voice rose a little after each word. They were usually the patient type, but, guess not this time.

Iida sighed. "My brother is in the hospital right now..." He started, looking at his feet. Y/n calmed and listened. "He was attacked by the Hero Killer, Stain," He continued, barely able to pronounce his words properly, tears threatening to spill.

Y/n furrowed their eyebrows and pulled Iida into a tight hug. "I'm sorry, if you didn't feel comfortable then I shouldn't have forced onto you." They whispered. Iida hugged then back, just as tight.

"I promised I would tell you. But there's a reason I didn't tell you," Iida pushed Y/n back, his hands on their shoulders. "I didn't want to drag you into this, you've been looking down and I thought telling you wouldn't have helped," He explained, avoiding eye contact.

"So your planning on getting revenge," Y/n spoke. Iida looked up at them and slowly nodded, disappointed in himself. "I'll help you. If it was my brother then I'd do the same," They smiled.

"I couldn't possibly ask you to do that," Iida was cut off, yet, once again by Y/n speaking again.

"You didn't ask. Stain messed with someone my best friend cares about, so he's gonna have to pay the price," They said, giving an evil smirk, which Iida chuckled at. "You can't stop me from helping, after all, that's what heroes do," Y/n giggled at their own words.

"Yes, But not for revenge," Iida recoiled.

"Well, that's what friends are for," Y/n hurled their arm around Iida's shoulders not standing on their tippy toes. "Now, let's get to the office before we're late," They gave Iida a bright smile, and he returned it.

"Thanks, Y/n..." He murmured.
