"Fuck fuck fuck. Ok its fine calm down" I whispered and closed my eyes.

This is bad, really bad.

My back was squashed against the wall and I had my gun in one hand and my dagger in the other.

My dumbass brother managed to get caught. Now I have to save him. I really dont know whats gotten into him recently. He's usually the best at this.

You're probably wondering what's happening right now.

My brother and I were just getting some- okay maybe not getting, it's more like stealing but we got caught, I mean he got caught.

I don't know what to do because we never leave another behind but maybe I could come later?

I peaked out the side of the wall that I was squashed against and noticed if I could make a run for it nobody would even know I was here. I looked at my brother Ace and he noticed me. He was in a headlock by a big man. Great. Ace gave me a nod, indicating that I could go and he could take care of himself.

Fine.

I knew he could take care of himself since he is 2 years older than me but I still loved him and to be honest he wasn't the most responsible.

I peaked again and just made a run for it.

I was on top of a roof because that's how ace and i decided to enter so i needed to jump. I didn't look back but stopped right on the edge of the building.

This shit was high. Damn.

"AURORA"

"Oh"

There was another guy coming at me and he was so fast. I didn't think twice and just jumped.

I rolled onto the ground and quickly picked myself up.

"It's okay, you're fine, shut up" I whispered to myself.

My apartment wasn't so far so I ran. I ran so fast or at least tried to.

I turned a few extra streets just so nobody was following me. Then I finally reached my apartment. I ran up the stairs, got my key out and opened the door.

It was really dark so I went to turn the light on.

"What?"  The damn light isnt turning on.

Oh my god I told that bastard Ace to fix it.

Ok it's fine.

I took out my phone to turn on the flash. But of course it had to run out of battery RIGHT NOW.

Why does this happen to ME? Because I'm special hehe. Okay shut up.

I'm so tired. I just left the kitchen and plopped onto the couch. Ugh i have to get Ace tomorrow because he was being a dumbass. We got caught before but Ace could always escape. I don't think he could now because those guys were big. He would probably be in jail right now and I have to get him out.

Just as I was about to close my eyes to sleep I saw a figure in the shadows.

In my house.

"Who's there?"

Did I really just say that? God Aurora, you're not in a movie ugh.

There was no reply so I quickly grabbed my dagger.

"Im armed! You should be scared!" you're the biggest idiot. I hate you.

Suddenly I felt a cold blade on my neck.
