Almost a week had passed since the Order had Harry moved to the Burrow and George's unfortunate injury to his ear. The following days were occupied in preparation for Bill and Fleur's wedding. Ron explained that Mrs. Weasley's been planning it for months and that it's the only thing that's kept her sane. Despite it being a joyous occasion, you couldn't help the gut feeling that something was going to go terribly wrong.

You take one last glance in the mirror as you stand in the middle of one of the guest rooms. With a little help from Hermione, your hair was twisted into a basic side fishbone braid. You were dressed in a pastel pink short dress. The gleaming grenadine surrounding the skirt glistened even in low light. The long sleeves were see-through, allowing you to see the sparkles that were painted around your arms. You weren't sure if you needed to bring anything formal, but you were glad you did. It was just elegant and was than adequate for the occasion.

You take a deep breath and wrap your rose gold necklace around your neck, which the twins gave you as a gift. You cast a wary glance at the carefully folded parchment on top of the table beside you. You'd folded it so many times that it was no bigger than a Snitch. Swallowing the lump that was forming in your throat, you quickly grab it, and leave the room.

As you travel down the stairs to the living room, you tuck the thin parchment between your bodice. When you stick the landing, you hear George's voice.

        "Morning."

He'd just caught his little sister and Harry snogging in the kitchen and decided to have a little fun sneaking up on them. And as the flustered couple notice him and part ways, you couldn't help but chuckle as you walk over to George who was leaning against the kitchen sink.

"That wasn't nice," you laugh, standing in front of him.

"Hey, I'm still her older brother." He shrugs, taking one last sip of his tea before setting the cup down on the counter.

You crane your head to gaze at the bandage around his head, sad eyes on it until you notice something peculiar.

"Why do you..." you trail off, utterly confused as you reach to grab the toothbrush out from his ear.

"Oh, convenient, huh?" he jokes. "Might as well make good use of it."

You give a small smile, shaking  your head and set his toothbrush in the cup he drank from.

"I'm just glad they didn't ruin my good side," George adds, cheekily smiling as he turns his head to the other side, showing the gold earring you gave them. "Don't you agree?"

As his earring glints, your lips stretch wider into a gaping grin. You stare in admiration at George, unsure how something so delicate and small could make your heart skip a beat.
