(Side note: Tyler and Taylor are 12, they are Dinah's children from that lady that she cheated on mani with. Thats why mani was mad all those years ago, cause she found out she was hiding them from her. Their mother abandoned them, and left them with Dinah.)

10 years later
The kids are 13

Normani was in the kitchen cooking breakfast when she hears.

"Mom have you seen my phone" Amari asked

"Check you room"

"Mom you seen basketball" De'mani ask

" Check the back yard"

"Mom have you seen... oh wait found them"

Normani shakes her head as she make plates of food for her family.

"Baby have you seen my-"

"On my god, if everybody ain't at this table in ten seconds, I swear imma........"

Everyone rushed to the table and sat down they knew what happens when they mom gets frustrated. Mani sat the plates of food in front of everyone.

"Ok let's go over the game plan today, I'll drop yall off at school. Dinah your picking them up. Oh and before you go to work pick up some apple pie on 4th street (code for, go check one of their dealers) Activitys Go." She pointed at the kids.

"Basketball practice 3" De'mani said

" College Biology at 4" De'andre washes his plate

" Nerd" Dearra whispers but De'andre hears and pushes her

" Shut up" he says

" Mama, dre pushed me"

"Cause she called me a nerd"

" Dre keep your hands to yourself and dearra stop talking about you brother." Dinah says as she sees one of half of her youngest trying to put on his tie. " Mon go help Tyler put on his tie, and meet us in the car" De' mani nods his head clears his plate and goes to help his little brother.

"dude, it goes over the loop.....there. Ok let's go" They Grab their bags, De'mani sets the alarm and they head out to mani's car.

Skip car ride

(De'andre POV)

As we get out of the car Taylor says

" Wait mom lunch money " Mom sighs and reaches in her purse.

" I still dont know why yall have to pay for lunch in the 8th grade, stupid private school" she hands us all 10 dollars and pulls off. We all start to walk into the school being greeted by everyone. Now I'm not gone lie we're pretty much the most popular kids in the school. Everyone wants to hang out with us and be our friend, but most of them are just corny ass white kids looking for a black friend. Anyway we escort the twins to their first bell and we head to ours.

"Hey, Quads" Becky says all perky and in our faces " I was wondering if you guys wanted to come to my birthday party. It's gonna be so lit" she finishes her sentence and sits down next to us. I can see Dearra trying her best not to slap the girl from my right view.

"Girl don't nobody want to go to yo raggedy ass birthday party, now move away from me and my siblings before I start to get physical" Amari was now towering over Becky, who looked like she was about to shit her pants. She gathers her books and walks to the seat all the way across the room with her head hung low. She looked so sad I kinda felt bad for her, so I turn to my sister and say

"Did you have to be so mean" she just shrugs and goes back to her work.

I sigh and look back at Becky. She looks really scared. I should go talk to her, wait no the teacher would say something. Oh wait, I can write her a note. I pull out my note pad and start to write an apology
