Chapter 5

Class is so boring. The final bell went off signaling students that it is time for lunch. I packed up my stuff and head to my locker. I dialed the combo and open the locker, shoving everything inside and took out my lunch money.

I head to the cafeteria and wait in line. Oooh, they got PIZZA! Yum that is my favorite. I picked up 2 slices, a bottle of water and an orange, paying for it and head to the table where I usually sit. It is empty as always, because nobody wants to sit next to the loser and that would be me. I put my tray down and started munching down my pizza. Mmmm... It is so delicious, I so feel like I am in heaven. I heard a chair pulled back next to me, I snapped out of my heavenly daze and stare at the tray next to me; I looked up and saw Rosy standing there and smiling down at me. I frowned.

"Hey Kate, can I sit next to you? I won't take no for an answer anyways" She sat down next to me and started unwrapping her sandwich. I tried the urge not to roll my eyes at her.

"Anyways, do you want to go to the mall after school with me?" She asked pouting her lips and putting a puppy dog face. I softened a little bit but I regained myself from that. It should be fun to go to the mall for awhile to distract some stress.

"Sure, why not" I agreed. The bell rung on clue and I packed up and leave. Rosy said to meet her after school at the parking lot so that we can go straight to the mall.

After school I went to the parking lot to meet Rosy as she said. I looked around and saw a flash mob of red hair in a distance. The figure was standing next to a grey Honda. It appears the figure was Rosy. I went to meet her up.

"Hey! I'm so glad you can come!" She chirped. Wow! This girl is sure hyper every time I'm near her.

"Yeah, whatever, just get this day over already" I mumbled, I'm not sure if she heard it or not I don't give a damn. I went to the passenger door side and open the door, sliding in and shut it. The driver side's door open and in came Rosy. She put on her seatbelt and starts the engine as it came to life she reversed from the parking lot and we were on our way to the mall. Mall is so boring but now I think of it I need new clothing. Oh shit! I forgot to bring my wallet with me today. I sighed; guess I have to go another time.

"What's with the sigh, Kate, is there a problem?" She asked by giving me a nickname. I hate it when people call me by nicknames. I tried not to show how irritated I am. "Nothing" I

replied in a whisper.

"How can it be nothing!? I know you are lying" She exclaimed and seeing right through me. Can't get away now.

"Well I come to think of it I definitely need new clothes but I forgot my wallet home" I said quietly embarrassed.

"Who said you were the one paying for all of this, and even though you brought your wallet or not I will be paying for it" She said happily. She turned her head to side and glance at my way, with her eyes focused back to the road smiling. A real genuine smile that actually reaches to her eyes, and not like other people who would sneer at me or give a look of disgust.

"Why are you doing this, I'm a loner, this would mess up your reputation with your friends, why?" I was starting to be curious of why is she so nice.

She sighs.

"Well I know what the effects are but I don't care what other people think, I know that inside of your baggy clothes and all you are a very nice person. I know for sure that you aren't one of those people who do drugs or anything.

I don't think you are a freak at all either, that is why I want to be your friend not out of pity but out of my I heart.

There is something about you that I don't know but I got a good feeling at the pit of my stomach that in the future we would become good friends." She gave wonderful speech that no one ever said. She is a good person by heart.

I think my walls are cracking and my conscious is telling me that I can trust her, that she would always be there when I need help.

"That is the sweetest that anyone ever said to me, Thank you Rosy, I really appreciate this friendship that you are trying to make, but it would take you some time to actual earn my trust on you" I said sincerely giving a genuine smile that I didn't crack for years.

"Well we're here" She said parking in an empty spot. Wow all of this talking really makes time goes faster. We got out of the car and headed to go shopping.

It was fun, the fun that I never had in my life, I never felt this happy for years. I really like this girl Rosy, Rosy Cali who I learned her last name is Cali.

Hey!!! Hope you like this chapter, i know it kinda suks but hey i am still a newbie, don't blame mother naturethat how i am. And this is still the beginning of the story so stay tune because in the middle of this story there wil be some drama. Of course!
