Sorry for that cliff hanger back there. Niall comes in the next chapter. Anyways, please read "Fighting The Feelings" and my future one-shot book. "7 Days" is a Larry book coming soon. Also, a lot of comments were deleted by Wattpad, so if you did comment last chapter, sorry I didn't reply. :(

The tension in the room was thick, to say the least. So thick you could literally slice it with a knife. It was suffocating to Louis. Wrapping him up like a blanket, cocooning him in it's deafening silence. It was choking him, it's clammy fingers spreading wide before collapsing onto his neck, squeezing hard. He needed space, needed room. He needed to open a freaking window for Christ's sake.

Louis didn't want to talk. He wanted to avoid all of the conversation for as long as he could. He was terrified, because words were hurtful, but they also gave a person power. The power to break or make anyone. And Harry fed off of that power.

But Harry's expression was somber, weary. He didn't want to do this, either. He wanted to run, run to the club and get wasted off his ass and find some hot guy who's name he wouldn't remember in the morning. He wanted desperately to fall off of a cliff, if it meant he didn't have to talk.

Both men stared at the walls, the windows, the doors, the floors. They looked anywhere but each other's eyes. They couldn't. Fearful of the emotions hiding behind the colored irises.

Harry was drowning. He was being pulled under by the guilt. The force of his actions was to great, and it was crushing him, making it hard to stand. He could feel the chill running down his back as memory after memory was relived.

"Stupid, whore!"

Hands flying.

"Harry, please don't!"

The sicking smack of skin on skin.

"You'll never think of cheating on me ever again after this!"

Tears.

"I don't wanna live this way anymore, Lou. I want to move on."

Harry was the first to break the silence, and for that, Louis was slightly grateful. But Louis was also overwhelmed, breathing in the words that his lover spoke.

Move on? Move on from the problem, or move on from Louis?

Harry sighed and ran a hand through his unruly mop of brown curls, the curls Louis loved so much. "Maybe time apart is best? I don't know. Maybe I should go away for a while? Would that fix this?"

"No," Louis croaked from his spot on the bed. "I-I don't want you to do that."

Harry laughed humorlessly. What else could be done? Their relationship was terribly and pitifully unhealthy. He was tired of it. Tired of himself, tired of Louis, tired of life. He needed a break. "Go stay at Liam's."
