Skylar and I hop off the bus and walk to the gas station across the street. I buy the coffee and Skylar downs about half of right away.
"Hot hot" Skylar says fanning her tongue.
"You just got it", I can't help but laugh at her. She looks hilarious!
We start walking back to school, Skylar sipping at her coffee.
"So how's you and Colton doing?", I ask making conversation
"Great almost 5 months!", She replies with a smile. "You and Jake?"
"Not so great I think we're almost over", I say sadly "Can we talk about this later?"
Jake comes over and pulls me into a hug, he kisses my forehead then pulls away grabbing my hand as we walk back to the school.
"Yeah", Skylar answers giving Jake a weak smile.
Skylar trashes her coffee and pops a stick of gum in her mouth and runs over to Colton.
