I walk up to Jake.
"Hey we need to talk" I say his face immediately looking worried "Not that way!" I quickly reply I see the relief rush over him.
"You scared me!", He says with a small adorable grin. "So what's up?"
"Do you still like me?" I say wanting to take it back the moment I said it.
"Yeah, of course", he says confused
"Well... You... You just... Things aren't the same." I finally spit out "You don't hug or kiss me as much, you don't text me as much, I like you and when you do that" I say with a smile
He doesn't say anything he just brings me into a tight hug and kisses me, on the lips!
"There", he says with a smile, he then picks up his phone and starts typing. My phone buzzes, it's from Jake, "I love you" it says.
"I love you too :)", I type back
Jake puts his arm around me and we walk into school.
