After a while, I got really hungry so I walked into Wendy's and ordered two large Baconator combos and a large vanilla frosty. I absolutely love food. I sat down in a booth and took a combo out of the bag. When I finished eating the one combo, I started to eat the frosty. As I finished, I looked down at my phone it was 3:30 pm it was still early so I decided to browse around the mall. But as I got up to leave I saw Jamie and the brunette tumble out of the disabled bathroom smirking. I grabbed the other bag of food, I guess he had a lot to eat already, and walked out and texted my other best friend,Renee.

Lanii~ Nee . .

Nee <3~Wat up hoe?

Lanii~Can u pick me up?

Nee~Sure, Where u at?

Lanii~The mall,

Nee~Kay, imma be there in five

I walked to the front of the mall deep in thought and waited for Renee. I was so deep in I didn't notice Renee's silver infinti pull up. The sound of her horn made me jump straight out of my thoughts.

Renee: Girl I ain't got all day!

Me: -Laughs- You finna calm down. You ain't had nothing better to do! -Throws her bag of food.

Renee- -chews fries- Shh! People . . err . . Cute boys are listening. -laughs- thanks

Me: Girl, You a trip.

I stepped inside my house and tried to make it to my room with anyone hearing me. “ Lanique Baby . . .come join us for dinner!” Shit.”Coming Ma” As I stepped into the dining room something was wrong. 1.) We had cooked food as in homemade food on the table. Usually it would be take out or tv dinners. 2.) My father, Lane was at the table, he was usually working with his clients around this time. So it was usually me , my little brother, Le'Shaun (AN: [Lay-Shawn]) and my mother, Monique.

“Honey we have an announcement” My father said and he paced his handq over my mother's. “We're Moving”

My mouth opened and my fork dropped. I stared at them and laughed. “If you're practicing for April Fool's then you're gonna need to try a harder.”

“Lanique we're not joking.”

“When?”

“When What?”

“When are we leaving?”

“Tuesday to London”

“How can you?!” I yelled as I yelled as I slammed my hands on the table.

“Lanique Monet Evans, I will not tolerate this behavior from you! Go to your room!”

“I hope you're all fucking happy!” I yelled as I slammed my door.

“All I have is one day, One more freaking day to tell Jamie I love him!” I said as I sobbed into my pillow.

Next Morning

Well today is the day I am going to tell Jamie how I feel. I texted Renee.

Lanii: Nee, I have something to tell u

Nee: I know Lanii,

Lanii: Wat do u kno Nee?

Nee: U're leaving, My mom tld me last night and she said that I am goin to visit for the summer, so dnt wrry hun. Nee still got u.

Lanii: XD I love Mama Thomas

Nee: I love her too. You tld him yet?

Lanii: Nope finna do that tonight Scared a'f tho

Nee: Dnt he probably feels the sme way

Lanii: He aint like me Nee. I mean look at me, I'm nerdy and he's popular.

Later That Night

I put on a sundress my cousin bought me from Rainbow. And went on my way.

He was having a party, I totally forgot. But it's not my kind of scene though. Who wants to see drunk, sweaty teenagers practically grope eachother. Ughh.

I didn't see him downstairs so I went upstairs to his room. As I opened the door, I saw him and a dark skinned girl in a compromising position. “Well, I came to tell you something important but you have better things to do.” I whispered, holding back tears. As I walked down the stairs, I felt a hand grip on my arm. “Lanii, wait . . .what is it you have to say?” His brown eyes searching mine. But I snapped out of it seeing that he was creating a scene.

“Is it that you love me?” He asked tauntingly. My eyes widened.

“Well, give it up Lanique, I don't love you. I never will love you. I only stayed your best friend after 7th grade because me and boys had a bet that you would someday admit that you love me. Yo, drake the bet over let me get my prize.”

Drake mumbled something while dropping $500 dollars and a G-Shock in Jamie's hand.

“No, I just came to say bye, Jamie”

“Bye?”

“Yeah bye, I'm leaving for London tomorrow.”

“Oh and yeah I did love you Jamie, but that was before I saw how you can be such an inconsiderate ass Jamie. I just hope your sorry ass gets a STD form those sluts you be fucking.”

I reached home and I called Renee and told her what happened.

Nee: So you telling me he had a bet on you for $500 dollars and a fucking watch? I swear if I was there I would have stomp his ass to the ground. Grate his face into the ground! Then I would have cut off hi-

Me: Okayyyyyyy Nee, I mean it hurt but I guess I kind of expected that to happened to me people don't really like me or talk to me.

Nee: No it's not okay for that son of a bitch to hurt you like that. OOOO My Gosh Lemme get my bat. Imma call you back hun. I finna home run his ass.

Me:Don't do nothing stupid.

Nee: Lanii, Stupid is my middle name . . right next to crazy! So my full name is Renee Crazy Stupid Thomas . . Bye Hun. Rest for tomorrow. Imma come before you leave!

Me: Bye Nee

I silently cried myself to sleep that night. I was more than ready to leave tomorrow.
