3RD PERSON POV

A few weeks have passed since the two had their date. The whole week Jaehyun spent planning the date. It was a special day for him as he was going to ask out Taeyong after a nice romantic date. 

He had everything planned from where they would eat to the scavenger hunt that utilizes Taeyong's friends and family. yes family. Taeyong doesn't know about this but recently Jaehyun was out of school 'sick' while in reality, he took the day off to talk to the boy's parents. Surprisingly they were really open to the relationship and were alright with it as long as the boy was alright and happy.

After all the work the male put into this he was excited that today was finally the day. He called off of work again due to the fact of if he went in he'd have to stay until the end of the day since yes the seniors leave early but he also has other grades to teach. 

it was mid-afternoon and he was already in his tux on the way to pick up the teen. 

Once he made it to Taeyong's house he stood at the door letting out a breath before knocking. 

Like any other parent whose child is going to prom Taeyongs parents wanted photos and everything. Once they were out of the house they went straight to the restaurant Jaehyun had reserved. 

That had gone well so now came the hard part Jaehyun. He took Taeyong to the park and told him he'd be back. Taeyong sat down on a bench while waiting for the older when he noticed a familiar figure walking toward him. 

"Doyoung?" He was genuinely concerned to why the boy was here. he was supposed to be out with Mr. Moon. 

"hey Yong how was thedate" Doyoung smiled.

"It was fine but why are you here" Taeyong asked. 

"Well to give you this" He handed the boy a small note with the word 'Will' written on it. "And also this" He placed a small box in his hand. 

"What is this" Yong was confused. 

"Find out for yourself. Anyway I gotta go" Doyoung said standing before leaving the boy. 

Taeyong opened the box to see small earings with a tiny note that read 'I know you really enjoy jewelry so enjoy my gifts -J' 

He smiled at the earrings before getting up and looking around for Jaehyun. While looking he past a slide before someone came down from the slide. 

"Holy shit Ten you scared the crap out of me" taeyong held his chest. 

"sorry" Ten giggled.

"Wait why are you here now" taeyong was extremely lost.

"Dont ask just take this" Ten handed him another card and box.

The card said. 'You' and the box was slightly bigger. inside was a bracelet and another letter. 'Yongie I really hope you like the bracelet but I bet you'll like the next one way more. also just listen to your parents -J'

"Wow that's a cute one isn't it" Taeyong heard. 

Once he looked up Ten was gone and Taeyongs parents stood where he once was.

"Oh hey guys" Taeyong smiled. 

"Here you go honey" His mom handed him yet another card and box.

"Now Tae we're going but go where your heart belongs" His father said.

The boy was confused but let his parents go before reading the card 'Be' and once again opened the box. This time there was a necklace it was gorgeous so pretty that he almost forgot about the letter. 'Did you listen to your dad yongie go to where your heart belongs. come to me baby -J'

Taeyong knew right away where to go. This park had a gazebo that Jaehyun and Taeyong frequented when they first started dating years ago. He just knew that's where Jaehyun was waiting and he ran as fast as he could. 

Once he made it all his friends and family were gathered around and there he was. Jaehyun standing right in the middle with a card and box just like the rest. 

Taeyong ran to him giving him a faint hug before getting the gifts. 

"Open them prince" Jaehyun smiled.

and he did the card read 'Mine' Taeyong smiled before opening the box to see a little ring. He was shocked. its not just a ring its very obviously an engagement ring. 

Jaehyun got onto one knee. 

"Lee Taeyong I know we arent really dating and haven't been for a while now but you mean the world to me so if you're alright with it would you like to skip the whole dating thing and be my husband" Jaehyun asked.

Taeyong was bawling his eyes out not being able to speak he just nodded before once again hugging his now fiancee. 

"I love you Yong"

"I love you more Jaehyun"
