Jackie took a deep breathe before entering the basement.

She hasn't been back since she flew off Hyde after making out with him trying to button her shirt up as she ran out of the room.

She opened the door and was slightly disappointed when she didn't see him on his stupid lawn chair.

"Steven" she sighed out.

"Yeah?" Hyde said leaving his room.

He acted surprised when he saw her but who else would be calling him Steven?

"Can we talk? Please?" Jackie asked motioning to the couch.

They sat down arkwardly and Jackie took the first initiative.

"What do you think of a summer fling?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"Fling?" He repeats also raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah no strings, no games, just us having fun together over the summer. It's boring and hot and this gives me something to do.... You know?"

She's been thinking about it all day and that Cosmo she read the other day that said "Take the Opportunity."

"Yeah."

"So do you want to do this with me?"

"Yeah."

"Say it."

"Say what?"

"Say you want to do it."

"Jackie.... I want continue doing... this." He waves his hand indicating them.

"Okay." She smiles scooting closer to him.

For the first time she's actually smiling and feeling something.

"But I don't want to be seen as a rebound from Kelso."

"Your not.... seen as that I mean. Kissing you is fun"

These three weeks of the summer thinking about Micheal was miserable.

"Of course it is."

She leans in to kiss him but he stops her.

"Don't go catching feelings again because we know how that ended last time." Hyde said holding up a finger.

She rolls her eyes at her stupid crush with him.

"And less talking too." He finished.

"Trust me I won't. Your mean and scruffy and poor." She snips back.

"And this is a secret no one can know. So don't go blabbing your big mouth to all your fri-"

"I won't okay? Cross my heart hope to die. You think I want people to see me with you?"

He smiles "that's my girl."

They both lean into kiss eachother.

Finally.
