james pov-

i wonder how sirius is, "AHHH" mum screamed, what's going on, i ran down into the living room to see sirius on the floor covered in blood and bruises "james go in your room "Euphemia!!" mum yelled, dad came running in "yes hone- OH MY GOD!" "james i'll call you down when hes alright ok" mum said, i went into my room and owled remus, lily and peter, about what happened and asking them if they can come over, i instantly got letters back and they all said yes except peter, he said he had a family gathering.

a hour passed of me impatiently walking around my room until i heard the doorbell go off, i ran downstairs and opened the door to see remus and lily "omg, james we hear what happened" lily said hugging me, she smells amazing- not now james "WHERE IS HE?" remus asked "with mum, we must wait upstairs until its ok to come down.

hours of silence and worry passed until mum yelled "OK YOU CAN COME DOWN NOW!".

remus pov-

i was the first one down and i seen sirius stood up with bruises and cuts all over him, he was wearing one of mr potter's t-shirts, i ran to him and kissed him on the lips and he kissed back, everyone gasped and looked shocked "oh yeah me and remus got together on the train" sirius said with a nervous laugh "YESSS! james you owe me 10 gallons!" lily said happily "damn it" james said giving lily the money "you two are a very cute couple" mrs potter said "are you sure you dont mind?" sirius asked "not at all!" mr potter said.

we were now sat at the dinner table, im so glad he's ok but i dont understand how he got this beat up so i asked "umm sirius why are you beat up?" "o-oh well father told me to pick the family or y- this other thing and i chose the other thing" he replied "what's the other thing?" james asked "i-it was the family or r-remus and i chose remus" he replied "i-i sirius im so sorry, why didn't you choose the family!" i yelled, how dare he risk his life for me! its really romantic tho "that doesn't really change if they beat me up or not rem, they would have beat me up either way" sirius said shrugging his shoulders, a big black owl came in and flew off, sirius went white as a ghost, it was a howler from his family. he opened it and it started yelling-

"SIRIUS ORION BLACK I AM DISAPPOINTED TO HAVE YOU AS A SON, YOU ARE A WORTHLESS NOBODY, YOU PROBABLY DON'T REMEMBER THIS BUT ONCE THIS HOWLER HAS FINISHED LOOK AT YOUR LEFT WRIST, IT'S A REMINDER OF WHAT YOU ARE! YOU ARE OFFICIALLY DISOWNED FROM THIS FAMILY, GOOD LUCK LIVING ON THE STREETS YOU STUPID SHIT BAG!"

everyone looked at sirius, "umm ok so my left wris-" he looked down and a gasp escaped his mouth, we all looked down to see and everyone gasped very loud we all seen the words blood-traitor carved into his arm, "oh god, that's the oldest thing in the book,he could've done better than that" sirius said rolling his eyes, "why doesn't it bother you?" mr potter asked "i have one on my leg to and my back, i didn't really bother me anyways" he replied shrugging his shoulders, sirius must be the bravest person i know "umm mr and mrs potter?" sirius asked "yes dear?" mrs potter said "w-well, i understand if you say no but c-can i stay here until -i find a house p-please?" he asked "no, because you can and will stay forever, we already have a room for you in the back!" mr and mrs potter said with a huge smile "really?!" sirius said "of course!" "t-thank you" he said as a tear rolled out his eyes, mr and mrs potter came over and hugged him "cmon then you lot bed time, if you like you can all stay here until school starts, i can owl your parent if u want" mrs poter said "yes please" me and lily said.
