We waited in the car for his sister lailani to come out.
"omg where is this girl" mike asked in patiently
"is that not her, over there." i said pointing to a slightly short girl wearing a soccer (football) jersey talking to a boy.
"ohhhh when she gets here she's dead" mike saidf angrily "Lai hurry up!" he shouted from his car.
she was only 12 so you can only imagine how over protective mike is, but he means well.
"jeeze chill, when she gets here dont be acting up or anything." i say to him making sure he doesn't make her feel bad.

"wow, thanks for embarasing m- OMG JORDYNN!" she said realising I was in the car
" hey kid, missed you"
"you have no idea how much i missed you, i got so much to tell you, (like m period)"
"You do know i can hear you!" mike says a bit irritated, then he drives off to his house speedly
Mikes mum was on drugs, in and out of rehab so she wasnt around, but he did have a stable dad that he hated for some unknown reason. so i was always there for Lai, but me and mike started all the flirting drama i stopped going to his house latley, which left lai in the dark and i felt bad.
"When you get in tell dad i wont be home for a while" Mike said stopping in front of his house waiting for Lai to get out

Then mike drove off, but he didn't go to the usual basketball court, i was a little confused
"Where are we going" i asked
" Oh i found a new basketball court, real hidden and real private." he said smirking
"All we are doing is playing basketball..." i replied
