sana pov

"Sana. Please call me Sana." I say without any hesitation.

Maybe it was her heroism, or quite possibly the delicate and polite way she treated me, but I had fallen for her charms quicker than ever before. Seeing as how she seems genuine in her ignorance to my identity, I see no problem with giving her my name.

"And your name?" I questioned her.

"Ah," she hesitates, "it's Y/n."

I giggle a bit at her awkwardness as we finally leave the alley, I wonder what reason she had to be nervous about revealing her name. It was 9 am when I had left for the  bakery, and it seemed to be around 10 now. She walks with the flow of the crowd for a bit until making her way in front of a store front and stopping.

"Oh, are you tired Y/n-ssi?" I feel guilty she has to carry me, "I'm sorry if I'm a bit heavy."

"NO! Sorry... uh no, Sana-ssi, you're light as a feather. I stopped to ask where you wanted to go."

"We're actually really close, if you go ahead four blocks, there's a bakery on the left. That's where I was headed before... the uhm guy..."

"Sana-ssi, you don't have to talk about it if you're uncomfortable. I'll be sure to get you to the bakery as fast as possible."

Y/n makes her way back onto the sidewalk and continues in the direction of the bakery. I see a few people take glances at us. There could be many reasons.

One, Y/n is very tall, taller than Tzuyu even. And in addition to that, she has very broad shoulders, so her physique itself is very unique.

Two, I am getting a piggy-back ride. Though it is common in dramas, Koreans don't see it much as foreigners lead themselves to believe.

Three, instead of talking loudly, the two of us have begun to whisper as we chat. I lean down and whisper in her ear and she'll tilt her head and quietly tell me things. Initially we thought this would draw less attention to ourselves, but it ended up seeming a lot more intimate to passerbys.

After we walked for a block, Y/n asked me for a favor, "Sana-ssi, could you please get my phone from my bag and tell my most recent contact I won't be coming today? I'm sorry to inconvenience you."

"Oh no, it's okay." I find her phone in the front pocket of her bag and try to open it but realize I do not know the password. "Y/n-ssi, would you mind telling me the password."

"Yes, it's 72757374."

"Wow, that's a lot of 7's!"

"It wasn't intentional," she looks thoughtful, "I guess her name just corresponds with seven a lot."

She seems lost in her thoughts for a bit. A dreamy look glazes over her eyes and she softly smiles. While she is enjoying her reverie I open her phone and head straight to the KakaoTalk app, where there is an unread message from a "Namdongsaeng-i (little brother)."

"Ahh, Y/n-ssi, is 'namdongsaeng-i' the one you want to message?" I ask breaking the silence between us.

"Yeah. Did he send anything?"

"He asked when you would be coming."

"Tell him this, 'something came up, can't come today, mianhe Sungmin-ah.'"

Only seconds after sending the message, two pings follow. The first is a selfie of a boy leaning on his guitar with a very expressive sad face. The second is a text, "Hyung~, you should make time for me." With a quick look over the text and then the selca, I realize that these two aren't actually brother and sister. This boy has medium-length black hair pulled into a bun which draws attention to his facial features which are nothing like Y/n's. In addition, he does not use honorifics in his text, only calling Y/n "hyung" (older brother) in a seemingly joking way.

After recounting the contents of the replies to Y/n, she sighs and asks me to call this "Sungmin" for her. After two rings he picks up. I can vaguely hear their conversation...

---

Y/n - bold, Sungnim-italics

"Sungnim-ah, it's just for today. I'll see you tomorrow anyways."

"Yah hyung! This is the first time in a while... not fair... mean..."

"Something came up, fine, I'll pass by your house tonight and you can tell me what you played."

"Mwo?! Hmm what about if I told you... is here right now?"

"I know she doesn't go out on the weekends, she's too responsible for that. And fine then, if she's there, put her on the phone."

"No can do, she... But if you come by, I'm sure..."

"*sighs* Ok ok, I'll try to make it. But, I'm going to be late. Don't wait for me."

"Oh I won't be the one waiting for you. *cackling*"

"Bye."

"Wha-"

*hangs up*

---

"Sorry about that." Y/n says as she pockets her phone, "He is just like that."

"It's okay," I reassure her, "I have friends like that too."

I begin to think about my members. So much has happened, will I tell them everything when I get back? And then I begin wondering how long I've been gone, oh no, they must be worrying about me. I remove an arm from Y/n's neck to reach for my phone which is in my back pocket.

I take it out... and it's dead. Shoot.
