Hank got and update by the doctors and was so broken. The rest of the unit sat in the waiting room.
Jay walked up to her bed and looked at her. He started tearing up "god, why'd this have to happen. I'm so sorry lindsay"
Hank walked in "I didn't know. If I had known I would've been looking for her...." jay turned around and looked at hank "I shot her" jay said with a shaky voice.
Voight looked at jay as tears ran down his face "we didn't know, it wasn't your fault" jay shook his head "it was! I shot her the bullet came from my gun!" Jay said walking out from erins room to the waiting room.
Hailey immediately stood up and hugged jay. Jay couldn't hug her back as much as he wanted to. "I shot her I pulled the trigger" jay said to the unit. They all hugged jay "she's alive jay, she's fine" jay shook his head " no, she looked so unrecognizable" Hailey kissed jay "she'll be fine, stop worrying so much or something will happen to you"
Voights POV
I held erins hand and rubbed it with my finger. She looked so lifeless and pale. I promised her she would have a better life when she'd move to New York. But she was missing for two years. Two whole fucking years! I've failed my little girl... "I'm so sorry erin" I said stroking her face" as I said that I felt something squeeze my hand....
Erins POV
I heard a raspy voice talking to me. But I couldn't see anything. It was all black. I kept trying to open my eyes but nothing happened. I stopped then tried again... I opened my eyes and was blinded by the light and immediately squeezed the hand that was holding my hand... as I opened my eyes again I saw voight....
Voight was speechless as his eyes widened "ERIN!" He said as he hugged her. She didn't hug him back. "Erin?" Voight called for her but she wouldn't budge or say anything. "I'll be back don't do anything" voight ran to get doctors and the unit.
As everyone was in her room the doctors took the tube out of her and she didn't budge she just stared blankly ahead. Everyone looked at each other in confusion
Jay took a step towards erin and hugged her. She didn't budge still she was there physically but mentally she was gone. Jay looked at the doctors confused
The doctors looked at everyone "she is very traumatized and has ptsd from what she's been through, all I can say is be patient with her and let her know that you guys are here for her".
