Brushing my hair trying to avoid the mirror only to see my ugly reflection, I gently put a bow in my hair. I then covered my face with makeup trying to hide the bags under my eyes from little sleep.
What do they call this? Self hatred.
It's not something a doctor can just give you medicine for and send you back home. Its something that takes over you. It makes you believe that you are worthless. That you deserve everything that comes to you. Slashing your wrists only to watch the blood seep from your veins. Your is soul is tortured daily. That's what self hate does to you. There's so much more but it is too hard to put into words.

Of course tis time. Time for the part of the day most younger people dread, school. The place that satan himself created. For 7 hours a day you get to sit and be tortured by other sad souls dragging their feet through the halls. For people like me, this is the place where you slowly get hit over and over again with the emotional hammer. Beaten senselessly till you can't take anymore.
The verbal blade is the worst. Slashing your skin slowly with the words that continually echo in your head. "Slut, cunt, whore, bitch, fat, worthless, stupid" the list goes on and on.
There are the girls that run away crying, then there are the girls that hold a smile until they can find a secure place at school to break down and then there are the girls that are numb to the names. They've heard them so much that it's a daily routine. They blink once and walk away. They walk through the rest of the day pretending that nothing is wrong. Those girls are the ones with the troubled minds.
At night is when those once beautiful souls break. They wait till everything is quiet, that's when their minds take over and break them. When no one is around to see or hear, they let their guards down. Tears stream down their faces taking the eye makeup down with them. But that's not enough for their twisted monsters. They want more tears, tears of blood.
